Fantastic! - Mad Alice is a star! She is engaging, knowledgable and funny. Although it was a large group she managed to make sure everyone could hear and spoke to all the group members individually whilst walking between historic sites. But most notable was the care she took to make sure my wheelchair bound mum was always in a position where she could see what was going on. A very enjoyable tour!

A memorable experience - A wonderfully dark tour with Mad Alice. The locations were quite unique and it was refreshing to hear some new stories about Yorks dark history. Mad Alice took the time to learn everyone's names and got to know everyone in between locations which was very impressive as there must have been nearly 50 of us! Would definitely recommend for families!

A truly entertains and educational tour - A tour not to be missed. Alice is an incredible tour guide. She has an incredible gift of recalling group member names and details is amazing. Her attentiveness to all the group members throughout the tour was much appreciated by the group. Alice’s narration of the history of York was very informative. An absolute must do! - Don’t think I could speak highly enough about this tour! From the start we were entertained, very personal as the tour guide had memorised our names and spoke to individuals in the group as we walked from location to location. The information we received was amazing and detailed. Mad Alice had just got story telling down to a fine art, a must do in York!

Amazing- must go!!! - What an amazing experience!!!! Mad Alice was hilarious and told the stories very well- kept everyone entertained and involved. She was interested in everyone that was on the tour (remembering our names, which was amazing), as well as talking to us in our groups when walking to the next point. Also, made sure everyone was safe when walking through streets and making sure kids were in a good place to see her, as well as wheelchair users. Would definitely recommend her soooooo much- thank you! ❤️

Totally captivating! - OK, you've GOTTA partake of this one when you're in York!!! We were completely enthralled and spellbound by the tales that "Mad Alice" spun about the ghostly (and a few living) residents of this grand old city. I can't give specifics so as not to spoil things! But I will say that she was massively enthused about every detail, and kept us hanging on for more. She's got a great formula whereby she randomly engages each guest in convo in between walks from place A to B, remembering their names too!!
