Great tour - Really enjoyable tour. excellent commentary and Barry tailored the tour to include some additional stops base on the feed back from the group. If you get Barry as a guide you can’t go wrong. Small coach was spotlessly clean and comfortable

Yorkshire at its Finest - John genuinely enjoys showing Yorkshire at its finest. His knowledge of historical facts, archeological, agricultural, religious happenings of Yorkshire (along with some quirky lesser known tidbits) makes this a joyful day out. From the Abbeys, to little villages to the town of Whitby he brings it to life with Yorkie hospitality - oh and there’s a train ride too ! Treat yourself to a reight day out.

100% recommended - The tour was perfect. John, the driver/guide took us on a minibus through the northern moors. He has spent the whole trip explaining stories and curiosities. The train had a failure and we were a long time stopped. Still, when we got to Whitby, he left us 2 hours to see him (even though it would end later). Quite a detail! Very entertaining. Recommended 100%!!

10/10 must do if you’re in York! - Our tour guide was John and he was simply fantastic. Very informative but he also had that Northern warm personality, wit and hospitality that this region is famous for. I would highly recommend this tour. Has given me a whole new appreciation for this country, and I was born and raised in England! 10/10
