The Morbidly Mysterious York Expedition is a dramatic and darkly comedic stroll that perfectly fits those who delight in a dash of wickedness and are eager to journey through the city’s shadowy past with our guides, renowned for their brilliantly sinister humour.
Kindly understand that this is not a haunted house experience. The tour accommodates families, but kids must be supervised by their adult companions at all times.
The assemblage for this tour can range from 20 -50 individuals and it’s open to the public. However, smaller and private groups can be accommodated upon request.

A Must Visit! - ‘Dr Dorian’ was as suitably impressive as his name. His ghost tour felt immersive, an especially fantastic feat, given that all he needed to capture his audience was a detailed recount of history! And capture he did! Through his charisma, and at points physical comedy, as well as humour - Dr Dorian led a wonderfully orchestrated tour through some known and unknown haunted landmarks of York.

Thw Deathly Dark Ghost Tpur of York - Highly entertaining, Mr. Deathly is an excellent storyteller. We recommend getting the book and ask for the time he actually saw a ghost.

A lot of fun with ghosts - great energy and charm from our guide. Genuinely interesting stories told well an interesting walk around the historic centre.

A must while in York! - This ghost tour was such a fun experience! Dante Deathly had our group hooked right from the start and matched our energy perfectly. He did a great job telling the stories of the souls from long ago and keeping us engaged (and on our toes!) I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Excellent and great fun - We were lucky enough to have Dafydd as our tour guide, we all throughly enjoyed his theatricals, stories and most of all his interaction with our two girls; who were fascinated by his pointy stick and tiny hands.
Value for money and thoroughly entertaining in a ghostly comedy way.

10/10, would do again - The tour was incredible! The tour guide was very enthusiastic and funny but also a really good story teller. He really managed to get us hooked on a story and when it got too gruesome he'd make a hilarious joke. I definitely recommend it!

Ghosts really do exist!! - Fantastic tour full of history and Declan was a comedian! Myself and my niece recently did the tour on Saturday, 20th July, we had the most amazing experience and I even captured two apparitions on my phone. To rule out any reflections, we went back to the same place the next day, stood in the same spot, moved around and took photos from every angle. We captured an apparition once again. We believe them to be 3 separate people!
