Fantastic ghost tour, highly recommend - Went on this ghost walk with friends on Saturday and had a blast of a time. The man running the ghost tour had an excellent sense of humour and made us laugh throughout the whole experience. Really interesting stories told, my group of friends and I thoroughly enjoyed. We can still hear the mysterious man sweeping the stones and puddles…. #puddlesweeper

Great entertainment rambling round ghostly York - Thoroughly enjoyed the quirky, interesting, funny and engaging ghost tour with Dorian on Saturday - it was a brilliant way to take a look around some of the city's spookier corners. We learned a lot and laughed a lot. Dorian created a great atmosphere amongst a diverse crowd of all ages - we felt welcomed and looked-after, for all that we were also supposed to be chilled and horrified! The stories were very well-told and were full of creepy and sometimes heartbreaking details that definitely stuck in the imagination afterwards. Wholeheartedly recommend this clever and endearing tour: if you're very lucky, you may even glimpse the ghastly puddle-man along the way...

A great tour even if you’re not into ghost stories! - We aren’t really into ghost stories as such, but this tour gets so many good reviews we gave it a try anyway. Very glad we did! The guide was superb in not only the way he presented the stories, but the way he interacted with the participants. One of the best walking tours we’ve experienced!

Our guide was awesome , taking us on an hour and a half tour of the city that was packed full of character and mischief. We would highly recommend the deathly dark tour for anyone who would like to get to know the streets of York better , see some of the best sights - and learn some dark facts about yorks history .

Very good tour of Yorks ghostly history - The Deathly Dark Ghost Tour was very informative, though it wasn't quite the tour that I think some people were perhaps expecting. When you hear 'Ghost Tour' you often think of jump scares and spooky tales, and whilst there was definitely spookiness there were no jump scares and the tales generally made you stop and think ("My Good Sir, are you allright" comes to mind.. if you know you know). It was very easy to find the starting location, and we ended up staying a minute or two after the departure time to allow for some late comers. The guide (Dahlia?) was VERY good, dramatic and engaging at the right times. The tour itself was pretty much 90 minutes on the dot and ended up just outside the Shambles (as an aside I appreciated the guide pointing out the location of the York Ghost Cats to me as we went nearby as it made finding them in the daylight easier). The distance between each stop was pretty short and on mostly level ground, but the guide moves fast so if you have speed moblity issues this might not be the tour for you. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth and would recomend this tour to people wanting to learn more about Yorks ghostly history.

#puddlesweeper - Really good tour more funny than scarey to be honest . One thing to note is make sure you are there 5 mins before it starts because we turned up at the meeting place at 8pm and the group had already left so we spent some time trying to catch them up ( in fact we ended up joining another tour by mistake for 15 mins lol) Highly recommend for everyone!! #puddlesweeper
