- St William’s College - Next on our list is a magical mouse! Find out all about carpenter Robert ‘Mousey’ Thompson and watch in wonder as your wizard guide transforms a simple handkerchief into a white mouse and then brings it to life.

Excellent, family friendly way to explore some of the most impressive parts of York - The Green Wizard is an excellent showman, my 2 kids (6 and 9) loved it and it is a great way to see some of the best parts of York. We went on the 4pm tour which meant there were some really spectacular twilight views around the Minster. Strong recommend.

wholesome, A family tour with magic and fun throw in - Thank you for having us. This really is a wholesome, family tour with magic and fun throw in. My just turned 9 year old and six year old were eager to keep up with the wizard. The Wizard was great at making sure children could see and kept them captivated. Thank you

A magical masterpiece - A magical masterpiece, perfectly executed.
We didn't want to go on a ghost walk with our 7 year old so chose the Wizard walk. It was AMAZING. The Wizard had created a magical journey through the streets of York with "hilarious" well timed jokes for both children and adults. Even with a large group the Wizard included all the children individually and most of the aduls too. The props were also very funny and at one point literally on fire. I would highly recommend the Wizard wand kit. Well done Phoenix

Brilliant family fun outdoors - Brilliant family fun - we loved the Green Wizard! Our 8 year old had the best time, she loved the magic and interactive fun - as well as the jokes. Our 2 year old was mesmerised as well and we would highly recommend it for families. The walk was easy to navigate with a buggy. The adults saw beautiful York and learned a thing or two, while the kids thoroughly enjoyed the magic. Such a lovely tour guide, clearly in his element. Highly recommended!

The whole family loved it - This was a brilliant tour. The kids were totally enthralled while my parents belly laughed throughout. We didn’t learn anything about York, which surprised me a bit, but we had a great time nonetheless.

The very best experience for every member of the family! - What a wonderful experience. Our 8 and 10 year old adored this as did we. Funny, magical, engaging and the hour and a quarter flew by. This experience deserves every award going.
We had the wizard with the beard, wearing green who was INCREDIBLE!!

Wonderfully Fun - So much silliness and joy in one short walk around York. The whole family loved it and were chortling along throughout. Highly recommend for families with children 5-98+

Magic for all - Our wizard was an excellent guide for kids and adults. He was engaging, funny, magical and had everyone involved. Loved seeing the hidden spaces of York and history of our locations. Highly recommend!!!

Highly Recommended - We, in our family have a young tradition of visiting York every Christmas. In 2024 our children were 10, 9 and 4. This year we decided to branch out and try new attractions and after very little searching we found The Wizard Walk Of York and booked without hesitation.
Luckily we were not dissapponted and the whole tour was fantastic. Even though the tour is directed mainly at the children, I was never bored and actually enjoyed it myself. This event will now be at the top of our list and we all look forward to touring York in a wizardy way for many years to come.
If that wasn't clear enough, my wife, three children and I highly recommend The Wizard Walk Of York and just wish we lived closer to book this talented human for family birthday parties. Mine included.

Fun trip for the children - A great tour! The "wizard" was entertaining and engaging and the children loved it. Our only disappointment was that we thought it would involve some information about York on the tour not just jokes and magic tricks. Of course, the children didn't mind but it would've been nice to have learnt something about the location!
