A magical and hilarious birthday tour - We booked a private tour for my daughter's 8th birthday with Phoenix the Wizard and it was FABULOUS. Phoenix is absolutely masterful at bringing everyone into his world. The children were squealing with delight in much the same way as they would at a pantomime - they were incredibly swept away by the experience. We adults were extremely entertained by Phoenix's (incredible amount of) jokes and puns. If you're not a York local - maybe even if you are - the tour takes in many sneaky alleyways and sights you may not otherwise see. The awards this tour has won are highly deserved in my opinion - I cannot recommend this experience highly enough for anyone visiting York with children.

Enjoyable for the whole family! - Highly recommended! This tour kept both kids and adults entertained the entire time. Even though Harry Potter fans will love it, I want to stress that you don't need to know much about it to enjoy the tour - my children were 5 and 4 and still loved every minute (as did their grandparents)! Very interactive and lots of 'punny' jokes!

Funny, entertaining and magical - We all had a fantastic time, very funny and entertaining. Highly recommend if you visit York. The wizard kept the attention of the kids and adults alike. The wizard wand kit was a magical extra and made a lovely souvenir. So pleased we booked it, thank you ☺️

BRILLIANT!!!! - Highly recommended! Very funny and entertaining way to spend an hour or so. The Wizard of York has a great way with his audience and made us all laugh constantly throughout the tour with his puns and quips. The kids all loved it and plenty of laughs for the adults too. Give it a go next time you're in York for the day. You won't be disappointed.

Fun, magical family entertainment - This was out third time doing the wizard walk of York, and, as always, it did not disappoint! We had the green wizard this time - a first for us - and the walk was just as fun, interactive and magical as ever. My two kids loved it - my 7 year old particularly likes the silliness of the wizard when he gets confused, and my 10 year old thinks the magic is brilliant! A great way to spend an hour or so in York with the family, and we get to see some hidden parts of the city too. No doubt we'll be back again next year!

Something for everyone! - We went on the Wizard Walk as a family with children aged 3 and 8 and we all loved it. It really offers something for everyone.

A fun break in the hustle or tourism - Well what an entertaining hour or so, a mini tour with tricks, jokes, and local history all wrapped in a fun bundle for kids and adults alike.

Absolutely, fantastically brilliant (yet again)!! - We've been on the Wizard Walk of York before, but it was so good last time that the kids have been desperate to do it again. This time we had a new wizard, Virdian the Green, and he was brilliant too! Both our boys were laughing all the way around. Highly recommended!

An expensive few jokes. - Ok, the kids enjoyed it, but it cost a lot for the whole family to go and didn’t include ANY information about York in terms of the history of the place or details of what we were seeing. Not worth it imo.
