Highlight of york trip - Went to London dungeons years ago but this is different stories. Went with my husband and 2 children. I knew kids would love it but was surprised my husband joined in. It is very dark and the ground a little uneven in places so becareful. We were lead around by the most euthastic actors and actresses I've seen. They really put their heart and soul into the performances. I can't say too much but a few jump scares ( I screamed a couple of times). But they tell the tales with humour and get everyone involved. Well done everyone for a lovely fun filled morning. Hoping the kids will sleep tonight!!! Bought a lovely photo at end.

Great experience! - Wow what a great and spooky experince! Actors were amazing , enthusiastic and great at telling the story. I liked fact no one jumped out and touched you as I was worried that would happen. The witch act had to be my favourite! Really recommend I am so glad my husband encouraged me to go!

Fantastic performance - We were the last to go in before they closed. There was only 4 of us, but they didn’t hold back. A fantastic show was out on with no sign of fatigue. Fantastic actors.

Excellent - I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, did the London dungeon around ten years ago or more, but we really enjoyed ourselves. The actors were great, they were obviously enjoying themselves and very effective. The dark tricks worked really well and overall was a really cracking experience.

10/10 - Great fun! Yes it's interactive so if that's not your thing then best to give it a miss but interacting with the actors makes it all the better in my opinion. Speaking of the actors, bravo. They all do an excellent job making it funny and informative. We've been to the Edinburgh and York dungeons in the last week and both were brilliant.

Frights and Laughs - My wife and I had a great time here. The actors were excellent and mixed humour with learning experience. Everyone was encouraged to join in and the group really enjoyed experience. I would recommend if you want a laugh, some frights and stay out of the rain for an hour.

Top acting and a fantastic experience - I took my 14 year old niece to the Dungeon and we both had a fantastic time. It was her first time visiting any of the Dungeon attractions and she was blown away by how interactive, informative and funny the experience was - she would absolutely have given a five star review. I had a great time too, and the only reason it drops a star is because having visited a few other Dungeons previously (London, Edinburgh, Alton Towers), this one didn't really offer anything unique and didn't have any ride element like those others mentioned have. A few of the stories were told slightly different (and the witch tale was probably the best version I have seen), and some were altered to be more York-centric, but as far as I could tell there were no exclusive elements here. The acting was top notch though, certainly better than I remember from most, if not all of the other Dungeons I have visited. All together though – a great experience from start to finish. It lasted about an hour, and could be seen as expensive if you pay face value, so make sure to hunt around for discounts as there are always plenty out there.
