Good days fun but tiring!! - Thoroughly enjoyed. I was born and lived in York many years but still learnt things going around. Teenager enjoyed it but not so much the 9 year old as he was in a wheelchair and we found it difficult on the cobbled streets and among the crowds.

No better way to visit these cities. - These mystery adventures are great. We get to see things you miss when visiting these places. It also gives us an excuse for weekends away. They can be split over 2 days and generally take around 3 hours ( depends on how much time spent in the pubs of course 🤪) Worth every penny.

Great day out in York - Great way to spend a few hours. Bit of a history lesson and four pubs for refreshment Really well designed, and enough of a challenge without being too hard to solve Helped we had a really sunny day

Fun tour around York - We love a treasure trail and this was no exception! The trails makes you stop and see features you wouldn’t normally notice and visit different areas of the city. Fun clues to solve and satisfying when you complete. It took us about 2.5 hours

York Mystery Adventure The Gunpowder Snitch Neil & Sam - Had a great time, loved every minute of it. Something to tax the brain, get a good look at York, and have a drink or two! This was gift from my beautiful Sam, she found this online and would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Great experience, would definitely recommend - This was a great place to do the tour, we saw so much more than we would have if we're just wondering around, certainly had to use the old brain on this one.

Good story , good clues , good times. - We have been to visit York several times and I wanted to do something different while in the city . This really made our visit fun (2 drinks in each drink stop helped!) and took us to some familiar as well as some unfamiliar parts of York . Can’t wait to do the next one !!

Oh what fun! - We spent a lovely afternoon in York following the clues in our Mystery Guide. It was a surprise for my husbands 65th birthday. At first he was a little sceptical as he's not the best puzzle solver, however once he'd solved the first clue he 'got it now', and we were off! A great way to explore the city, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Luckily I'd made use of the 3 for 2 offer and we have our home city of Portsmouth and also Winchester to tackle next!

A great day - We loved it! Family friendly so it was easy for us problem solving loving adults but we enjoyed it nonetheless - it was a different, fun but chilled way to explore a city. Loved the pub stops, it really spread the clues out, meaning we could make the most of the hunt and our afternoon. The research that’s gone into it to bring out the specific history of York was great, definitely added to the experience and was interesting to learn about the city as well as to solve the clues. Only downside is the price - appreciate that the company has to make money and time and effort has gone into researching and creating the guides. We paid to travel to and stay in the city as well so it’s an extra cost when it’s not something we can reuse. But it’s not something we’d do on a regular basis and we enjoyed the treasure hunt adventure.
