Amazing experience with an incredible tour guide! - Nix was absolutely amazing, and we couldn't have asked for a better tour guide! Not only was she knowledgeable about witches and the history of York, she also gave us really interesting facts that we'd never heard before. Everything was delivered with humour, but not in an overbearing way. She also dealt with people who weren't part of the tour really well (like day drinkers), and turned potentially awkward situations into something light-hearted. Would definitely do again, and would recommend to anyone interested in the history of witches (or the history of York from the angle of witchcraft)!

The darker side of York - Our tour guide was lovely and fun , lots of interesting facts about York its streets , the entomology of street names and of course Yorkshires history of witches . We did the tour on a cold Novembers evening and it felt very atmospheric .

A great experience - I really enjoyed this tour. We had the Witch Willow for the evening. I enjoyed walking with her, she made the evening informative and fun with each stop. She made sure the group kept up at each stop. I went to the 7:30pm time which I think made it a little more spooky than a day session. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable experience - A very enjoyable way to spend the nearly 90 minutes before our meal. Very informative. Gave an insight into some of York’s history and a useful idea of the city centre. A nice, but not too strenuous walk.

depends on your witch! - it was quite average comparing to other similar tours I've did in other historic cities. we had witch willow. other reviews quote another witch who was good so I suppose depends who you get.
