An Awesome Day - Mike - our driver and guide - was excellent. I was impressed by the way he connected with every member of the tour group, his knowledge of the region, his clear, well-modulated speaking voice (I wear hearing aids. So this was very helpful to me.), and his superb driving skills ((It was rainy the day we went and the roads are narrow.). I loved Mike’s optimism (He referred to the rain as “liquid sunshine” and referenced how the rain is the reason for the verdant beauty of the national park.). He is also detail-oriented and thoughtful: he provided paper towels for each of us in case the windows fogged up and even did the trip route in reverse order in hopes that the weather would clear up a bit thus allowing us to experience the best parts of the trip rain-free. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beautiful countryside, the sheep, Bolton Castle and the filming location for All Creatures Great and Small.

A Great Day Trip - This was a great trip through a beautiful part of England. Mark, of Best of Britain tours, was an excellent driver and a thoughtful and engaging guide. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about our itinerary and his efforts to help us make the most of our day were greatly appreciated. The villages and vales we visited were idyllic and the park itself was magnificent. Thank you, Mark, for a day that we will long remember!

Wonderful Trip to the Dales - Mark, our guide, was excellent in helping us see and experience as much as possible of the beautiful Dales. We unexpectedly got to see many of the filming sites of All Creatures Great and Small. I loved the visit to the creamery where we not only tasted but I joined a tour explaining how cheese is made. We visited many picturesque small towns. A delightful day.
