Laura O was excellent guide. She made our entire trip so memorable. Her knowledge about Yosemite is amazing and there was never a dull moment. The whole tour was family friendly and we got to venture a lot places without worrying about parking or getting lost. Thank you Laura for everything you did for our family! My son can’t stop raving about how great you were!

The guide was very knowledgeable about the park because of her experience living and working in the park, but her passion for sharing that passion with us was very evident. She was able to take us to the best spots to observe the magnificence of the park within the duration of the tour and share the history and legends associated with those sites. Based on what we learned on the tour we were able to return a second day and do some things that were of special interest to us. Would highly recommend this small group tour (6 individuals) for those with a limited time schedule or just wanting to get a good introduction to the park.

Our guide was on time in a very nice vehicle. Daniel was very personable and friendly.
The problem was that he would go off on tangents about the Germans invading Mexico (never happened), the Italians invading next(never happened) and then the French. That did happen when they put an Austrian puppet on the throne.
There were other historical “facts” that were also way off. Example Columbus being in charge of the mapping of the SW.
We also had to listen to a VERY long story about his only girl friend.
I could forgive that but other factual errors such as granite being caused by pressure and time. It’s igneous and comes from magma or lava. He was asked how long to climb El Capitan. He said 2 days. I looked it up afterward and the average is 4to 6 days (record is just over 2 hours).
I’m reasonably sure there were other errors but I don’t know enough about trees and plants so I can’t be positive.
When I go on any kind of tour and the guide gives facts, I expect them to be accurate.
There was also the matter of his driving out of the park on very twisty roads with one hand holding his coffee cup.
He did mention that his boss said he didn’t need training. Well, the boss was wrong.
