Incredible Ypres WWI Tour with Roger - I had an amazing tour with Roger! I did the 1/2 day tour which was packed with museums and sites. The pick-up/meet-up was very easy from the Ypres train station. Roger has an immense knowledge of WWI and the Ypres Salient (and has written 2 books). I was lucky enough to visit in the off season and have a very small tour group, allowing for me to ask a ton of questions which Roger happily answered and shared interesting anecdotes/facts. I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn about WWI history or further their knowledge and visit the sites firsthand. It’s so much more impactful to have a guide versus seeing the WWI sites without.

Highly reccomended - Roger has extensive knowledge of the area and the ww1 period. Don't try to see the sites without him, you will regret it. You won't regret booking this tour. Casper, Netherlands, male, 50

Ypres Battlefields tour with Rodger - Rodger was very kind to collect us from the train station later than scheduled as our 1st train from Lille was cancelled & we had to go around the 🌎 to get there. Our Guide Roger has an amazing knowledge of the history of Ypres and its surrounding battlefields from the Great War. We were given a detailed tour visiting Tyne Cot, and Hill 62 with Roger going into great detail about the areas we were passing through. It was a sobering and humbling experience to see first hand what the young men had to endure. I would recommend this trip and definitely to travel with Rodger as he is very knowledgeable. Definitely worth the trip.

Visiting Ypres and surrounding battlefields. - We had a brilliant day with our guide Roger. He was so knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome with him. The day was so interesting and humbling and his knowledge from the Great War was amazing. We stopped at Tyne Cot and Langemark cemetery’s as well as other key sites from the war to name a few. I would highly recommend this trip and we will certainly be coming back for another visit.

Insight into the hardship and endurance experienced by our armed services - A very informative tour. Roger our guide was engaging and very knowledgeable about World War 1. He is very accommodating to adapting the tour if you have relatives who lost their lives in the area during the war. Excellent tour

Flanders Fields tour - We could not have been happier with the experience. Our guide and driver was very knowledgeable and dropped us back at our accommodation at the end. For the time we had allocated ourselves in Ypres, the tour was an ideal length.

A master class in WW1 - Roger’s half day tour from Ypres was a master class in WW1. He provided an excellent insight into the WW1 experience. He is very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and you can see his passion for history and particularly WW1. I would highly recommend his tours to anyone. As a side, He has also got a great sense of humour😊
