As soon as you are ready will start the visit at the northern section where we admire the temple of Kukulcán and explain why is one of the new wonders the we go to the great Ball court the platform of Venus the Sacred cenote and the temple of the warriors after a small break will walk south of the site to see the Mayan observatory the nunnery and the building known as the church.
During all the time of the visit we will take time for pictures and when possible find the nicest shade.

Once in a lifetime experience with an excellent guide - It was very easy to book the tour. We were specific that we wanted Pepe as our guide as we had read previous reviews. Pepe was absolutely fantastic. He was very helpful even before the tour started and helped as get a taxi from Vallodilid. Pepe has a very thorugh background and could give detailed descriptions of various parts of Chichen Itza together with the history behind the monument and the Mayans living there. He literlally made it come to life. He is very friendly, funny, excellent communicator and has an exhaustive knowledge of the monument and its history. There were no questions he could not answer and toook the time to lead us through the monument in a relaxed manner.

Best Tour Guide for Visiting Chichenitza - We had the best time yesterday with Pepe. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Mayan culture and people. We learned so many things. My children were fascinated to learn about Chichenitza, and Pepe answered all their questions with as much historical accuracy as possible. I would recommend Pepe to anyone going to Chichenitza.

AMAZING Guide - I can only confirm all the excellent reviews made about visiting Chichen Itzá with Pepe as a guide: he is truly an AMAZING guide!! He is extremely interesting, clear and most importantly: he masters Mayan history! Pepe used to be a history teacher: he has a ton of knowledge and knows how to captivate an audience! We could not have chosen a better guide!

10/10 Will Definitely Book with Pepe Again! - Pepe was very communicative and easygoing. He spoke English very well and was incredibly knowledgeable about Maya history, culture and archaeology! He brought photos to help us visualize different parts of the ruins and gracefully avoided larger tour groups without it taking away from our experience :). Pepe set a very high standard for tour guides we'll search for in the future!

Pepe was wonderful - Pepe was a wonderful tour guide. He is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Maya and Mayan culture. He was very patient and flexible with us and our two kids (4 and 7), and he worked hard to keep them engaged and answer their questions. I would highly recommend him!

Probably the best tour guide in the world - Pepe was the perfect tour guide, full stop. He is incredibly knowledgeable, providing us with nothing but interesting information far beyond the Chichén Itzá site. What really blew us away is how he clearly stays informed on new developments in archaeology, anthropology, history… to tell the story in a detailed and nuanced way, but ever so colourful through his passion and engagement with the subject. I rarely write reviews, but I recommend Pepe’s tour wholeheartedly!

An Excellent Guide - Jose is kind and easy to schedule. Communication via What’s App prior to meeting was helpful. Jose is a scholar with a deep understanding of his ancient Mayan culture. The source of his information is based on personal experience and the most recent research. Touring the site with him is really a learning experience. Jose was excellent at gauging our interest level and providing the tour that suited us. We are grateful for our time together.
