Cancelled tour, but handled it with the utmost integrity and professionalism. - Just adding this review to comment on the professionalism of the crew. We had a reservation and because of incoming/developing wind and cloud cover over the late afternoon it had to be cancelled. Disappointment aside, the crew at SJT kept us in the loop throughout the day and once it was clear that we would not have an optimal experience they called it. We were issued a full refund without hesitation since we could not reschedule. I respect and greatly appreciate the integrity it takes for a small outfit like this to preserve their reputation and put the guest experience first. They deserve recognition for that alone. Look forward to doing it when we return.

Star Gazing - Devon and Daniel were excellent guides, very knowledgeable and kind. I have a mild mobility limitation and they were extremely helpful and considerate, making sure I had an appropriate chair and was comfortable. Five stars!

Our beautiful night sky - It was a perfect curator evening. Our tour started with an introduction of the planets and their relative distance and composition. Our astronomer guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. The telescope setup was fantastic and allowed us to see things up close. It was such a fun experience. Dress warm.

Amazing Gazing! - Directions and signage was well thought out. The entire experience was wonderful. Our guide/ astronomer was so knowledgeable and passionate about the entire experience. The explanations and descriptions helped to make the experience easier to understand and the telescopes just heightened the experience. The tour was very responsive to my texts prior to arrival as we had unexpected delays and were very accommodating. I give it a 12!!

Personally, me and my... - Personally, me and my family loved this experience. We learned so many interesting things about space and my oldest son really enjoyed looking through the telescopes. It was chilly but they provided hot tea, hot cocoa, hand warmers and blankets. Just perfect.

Absolutely amazing professional astronomy tour - Extremely professional, well executed guide of the solar system and the universe. Multiple digital and ultra high resolution telescopes. Able to visualize nebula, galaxies, planets. We were able to look at Venus Jupiter Saturn.. The dumbbell nebula was particularly outstanding. Traveler should be aware that it can be significantly cooler up in the Joshua tree area. Was 78 in Palm Springs today and down to about 41 with significant breeze at the time of the stargazing. They did provide hand warmers, blankets, and hot drinks. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Worth the Challenge of Finding the Location - It’s amazing all the stars, planets and galaxies you can see in the night sky when the city lights are gone. Brandon did an excellent job of pointing out everything and we appreciated the creature comforts they supplied. Only negative is the directions were a bit confusing. Using Apple maps the location where you turn is different from its location using Google maps! Google maps is correct. They should consider using a van from a central meeting point or do a caravan to follow someone.

Not worth the money - The zero gravity pods are actually just bean bags. Three of the five telescopes were not working bc of the cold. There were few stars as it was almost a full moon, so guide was searching for something to show us. . It was informative but the price was WAY too much for what we got. Maybe when it’s a new moon/darker, this experience would be worth $100 a ticket, but $200 was ridiculous,
