A great half day tour and sunset BBQ - We had a fantastic tour with Yad in our small group. He picked us up promptly from our accommodation and kept us informed of the itinerary throughout the day. We went on two walks and Yad gave interesting and knowledgeable talks about the history of the rock and the areas of it which we were visiting. We were provided with water and a snack after the walks then spent an hour at the cultural centre before heading to the viewing area for the sunset BBQ. We had steak, sausages, a variety of salads and lamingtons for dessert whilst the sun set. Local Anangu women sell dot canvas paintings at the viewing area so bring some cash if you would like to buy one. Beware that the sunset area gets very busy - numerous coach tours turn up at sunset - but everyone gets a good view of the sunset. It was a great tour to do with our four year old as we saw the highlights of Uluru butwas back at the hotel at 7pm.

An outstanding experience of a lifetime! - Our tour guide was wonderful, helpful, full of history, folklore, flexible and accommodating. He cooked a wonderful bbq, served us drinks and did the whole set up and break down! Five star ratings for him.

Beautiful sunset at Ayers Rock - Great Uluru experice with Tour guide Yad. My husband selected this tour with Emu run experience and we had absolutely enjoyed every aspect of this trip. Yad took our group to the national park and thoroughly explained the mythological and geographical history of the Ayers Rock. After the two hours walk we had a brief rest at the aboriginal art gallery and cultural centre. And BBQ sunset at Ayers rock is the highlight of the tour where we have BBQ dinner while appreciating the beautiful sunset.

A perfect day in Uluru - We had a wonderful day! For my first experience of Uluru up close, it was perfect! Yad, our tour guide was so knowledge and he could answer any questions the small group had. We visited two easier access sites which made it a very inclusive tour too. Emu Run tours are lucky to have Yad on their team! We were also lucky as there were very few flies! I would definitely check out other Emu Run Tours next trip. Thank you Yad, we appreciated your knowledge and support on the day. Karen & Chiara

THE BEST WAY TO EXPERIENCE ULURU FROM ALICE SPINGS IN ONE DAY. - You go to Uluru to visit a geological marvel, however since ownership changed to indiginous locals, there's much more focus on indiginous intepretation of the features. I get it, but most visit the rock because it's a rock. The significance to the indiginous population is of a lesser importance to visitors. Watching our group, after 10 minutes of dreamtime stories, boredom was starting to show. The BBQ and drivers/guides were fine.
