• E.E.S.S. SIERRA DE LAS NIEVES - Zarzalones is a stunning canyon nestled in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, just 50 minutes from Mijas and an hour from Malaga city center.
  It is one of the top choices for canyoning in the province of Malaga, alongside Guadalmina, Buitreras, and Ronda. Located near the charming white village of Yunquera, it boasts a year-round water flow.

With approximately 4 hours of activity, it is suitable for children aged 9 and above, as well as adults with a moderate fitness level. This adventure begins at the source of the Rio Grande, a picturesque spring emerging from a large cave also known as Zarzalones, where green, pure, and crystal-clear waters flow. From this point, participants will follow the river’s course, encountering two jumps of up to 4 meters into crystal-clear pools and three rappels of 8, 10, and 21 meters.

The adventure concludes at the same location where the approach path to the canyon began.

The activity lasts approximately 4 hours and is suitable for children aged 9 and above, located just a 55-minute drive from Málaga or Marbella.
