After meeting the guide at the specified location, proceed to Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum featuring wooden houses, shops, and functioning windmills from the 18th and 19th centuries. Visit the Clog Museum to witness traditional craftsmanship and see wooden shoemakers at work. Discover the art of cheese-making in the Netherlands by visiting a cheese farm at Catharina Hoeve.

Next, visit Edam to learn more about its famous Edam “cheese balls.” Afterwards, travel to the picturesque town of Volendam to appreciate and immerse yourself in the local culture. Following this, head to Marken, where you can stroll around and gain insight into the life and history of this town. For a brief moment, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.
