Wonderful Day at the Lakes - Fantastic tour with amazing tour guide Tamara who really took care of everyone and kept us well informed. We were lucky to have some great weather too. Don’t hesitate to book with Zadar Adventures. Best in the business!😁

Waterfalls and Turquoise Water - The lakes and the waterfalls were spectacular. Leaves are just starting to turn to fall colors. The transport and guide we’re great. The Whatsapp group the guide organized was new to us, but highly effective to keep up with a large group. The park is gorgeous, but the tour groups (56/60) cause back ups.

Plitvice did not disappoint - Plitvice did not disappoint, even on a dull cloudy day! Well organised routes, we did the 8km C route and were delighted with the beautiful scenery and tranquility of the lakes and waterfalls, even with the many visitors we were surrounded by. The colours and clarity of the lakes and the abundance of waterfalls were stunning, it was just a shame the sun was hiding on the day we visited. If you like walking and appreciate being out in nature, then this place is definitely worth visiting.

Must see - The paradise of nature! A must see! When I went it was quite cold cloudy, but this didn't ruin the experience. I took route C and got to see the best nature has to offer. The park is very well organized and easy to follow the route. We went with Tamara who made sure we got all the info we needed to get back on time to the bus.

Fantastic scenery and a well-organized tour! - Well-organized, and Karlo was an excellent tour guide—proactive in keeping us informed and sharing details about the surroundings. We loved it!

Plitvice September 2024 - Plitvice is wonderful, so much beauty to see. The tour was also very good, there is a WhatsApp group to join at the start and most information is passed via that and also photos etc. A good way to communicate apart from in the coach sometimes when describing a passing battle field that I probably would have been aware of if talked to over the speakers but missed due to not receiving the message at that time. Overall though, excellent place to visit, tour well organised just slightly let down by modern tech not being as good as it should, not their fault.

Natural Beauty - This is a must see if in Croatia! The waters are crystal clear & the colors are spectacular. I’ve seen more impressive waterfalls but these are still very pretty. The trails are well signed & walkways well maintained although with very few railings, how no one falls in beyond me! Sadly, like most things in Europe, probably what used to be quietly visited is now swarming with tourists. If you are willing to buzz past a few of the more picturesque spots then you can separate yourself from the crowds & enjoy a more peaceful experience.

Plitvice Lakes and Falls - The falls were amazing. It was a non stop natural wonderland even with low water flow. I can only imagine what it would be like to be there when the water is flowing at it’s highest level. Even the forest was beautiful with very large trees at the end of trail C. I was looking forward to some information and local history during our two hour bus trip but didn’t get any. Tammy was very nice and gave very clear instructions.

Beautiful gem of a National Park - Lakes / national Park are amazing and worth the 2 hour drive . The price is only for the transport - the tour asks that you bring cash for the park entrance to them and it is another £35 on top of the transport cost . This is not made clear in the advert . The bus left late so instead of arriving at the park for 10am as stated it was 11am then waited for guide to get ticket book , had them out and give briefing . It was 11.30 am before we entered the park . Given that we were an hour and a half late , one would think the meeting time for the return would be extended but no . This cut down significantly time in the park . This resulted in a rather rushed route ( although we did complete it ! ) , no time to stop for lunch or admire the falls for more than a few minutes. It is accessible via public transport and the park entrance fee is much cheaper buying on the gate. The only thing the tour helped with was telling us the best route to take in the park - Route C . Tour transport was comfortable and the guide great ( not guided in park ) just on the bus and entrance ( you can pay extra to have a guide with you in the park ) . Not necessary in my opinion only as park routes are very well organised and signposted .

Disappointing experience - Booking process was very simple. The rep we dealt with was helpful. Unfortunately that’s where the positive experience ended. Morning pickup at our location was extremely stressful and rushed. The bus driver was very rude and did not seem like he wanted to be there. The main bus to the national park was 100% and the driver was friendly. The bus only stopped just before the national park for 10 mins to get snacks and the toilet again very rushed. As part of what we paid for there was supposed to be a guided tour of the park included however this was not the case. The guide went with the majority and there was no guide for the route we took. We paid for a guide that we did not receive. For the 3 of us combined we have lost approx €60. When we got off the bus we were promised a shuttle to our accommodation. We approached the shuttle bus driver and he pointed us in the direction of two of his colleagues both of whom had say “no” to our request and queries. When we asked for clarification they started to become argumentative to eventually drop us close to our destination . All in all a very stressful day with rude shuttle bus drivers. I would advise to book a public bus and do this fantastic park solo.
