Very worthwhile tour , serene views everywhere - The lakes have a stunning turquoise colour and throughout the trail, you are always either next to a lake or a waterfall. Really worthwhile trip- highly recommend . Guide was very knowledgeable and nice as well. Our group was quite big so you feel a bit of pressure to move along rather than being able to stand still and take your time to marvel at the views but the views are everywhere so it’s fine. We went for the 8km trail including a boat ride which is very manageable. Mostly flat or downhill other than a a short bit in the end.

Lovely experience. - This is was an amazing experience. The tour guide Ivana gave us lots of interesting information. Only thing we would have liked was more time to enjoy the park and the beauty. It felt like a rushed walk/hike. Almost no time to soak up the scenery.

Great day out - We were picked up on time & taken up to the lakes by a mini bus being a smaller group. The bus was very comfortable, the guide for the day was very informative & very helpful throughout the day. The lakes didn't disappoint. Stunning. Even at this time it was busy, but comfortable, would hate to think what it is like in July & August. Overall great day, albeit a long one. Our 5 year old was exhausted by the end of the day but he did manage to walk all the way.

The lakes themselves are... - The lakes themselves are gorgeous, easily the most beautiful nature spot I've been to so far. However, I highly recommend staying for the night somewhere near the park in order to do the visit yourselves. Or use a different company from the one we used (Terra Travel). The most shocking thing was that the bus didn't have a toilet - this is unacceptable, especially for the price of 92 euros per person. The bus was also very old and arrived late, the excuse was traffic. I'm sure the crew knows what traffic is like in Zadar and should simply leave early. Extremely unprofessional. The guide was nice but seemed a bit bored of his job. He often left us on our own, he didn't have an umbrella or a flag to be easily spotted like other guides did and was difficult to hear him in a group of 45 people. Overall, I would have given 1 star if the lakes weren't so gorgeous.

Do not book with jadera operator/tripadvisor for this one - The park is wonderfull but the operator contracted by tripadvisor, called Jadera tours not only left me on a petrol station half way to the park on a motorway due to a 3 minute delay (queue in the bathrooms) but the driver told me off when sent to pick me up 40min later....no guide to give info,no apologies and the transffer was a bus plus a change to a van to take me to my accomodation. I nearly missed the van too, once I was the last person coming out of the bus. They do not check the list of passengers or care at all. I missed an hour in the park and was very upset. Well, tripadvisor did not sent me a rquest to avaliate this one, funnily, and this is the only way I can complain....here. So, book with someone else, my advice. Tripadvisor should give a chance of contact to talk privatedly first about it. But this is what they offer - and jadera tours was terrible. Not recommended.

Scam and lies, and absolute disgrace - This whole tour is a scam, avoid at all costs! Nearly an hour late in the morning, with zero communication. Given contact not answering the phone, then smiling to your face like nothing has happened. Programme is advertised as 9 hours. From Zadar to Plitvice lakes, it is a 1,5 hour long trip, however this one took about 2,5 hours to get there. So we are already late, tour guide is rushing everyone. You have absolutely no time to admire anything in the park, just rush-rush-rush as they said, the trip back is at 15:30 and we need to get to the bus by then. 30 minutes allocated for lunch break - lines at the buffets outside the building, absolutely no chance to pick anything up. The "electric train ride" in the description is non-existent, there was no sign of it at all. Later on, tour guide changes her mind and she says we need to be at the bus at 14:50 instead of 15:30 - nice one, just chipping off another 40 minutes of a programme that costs 85 dollars per person. Then, on the way home, we make unnecessary detours and some passengers paying tips for the driver to take them directly to their hotels, despite it was not an indicated pick-up point. Guess what: the trip back to Zadar took 3,5 hours! And now they have the courage to blame it on traffic! We were monitoring traffic levels all throughout the trip on our phones, there were no traffic jams and no obstructions at all. But yay, we had 3 hours to spend in one of the most beautiful national parks for $340/4 people! So this is it - please read the description carefully, then refer to my comment and think twice before you book this scam! Refund request and escalation is already filed - tour organizer already rejected in the first round but we will not stop until we get our stolen money back. If Viator are unable to help, we will turn to a solicitor.
