- Ošljak - The island Ošljak is the smallest permanently inhabited island of the Adriatic with 29 inhabitants and an area of 0,39 km2. It is only half a nautical mile away from Preko. Ošljak is an example of traditional Mediterranean architecture, with an old fishing port and the Church of St. Mary from the 6th century. The hiking trail on the island is two kilometers long, passing by a lighthouse and the remains of windmills – mills from the 16th century. In 1985, Ošljak was declared a forest park.
