- Tkalciceva Street - At the turn of the 20th century Tkalčićeva Street was the main centre for brothels. At one stage every other building was a bordello. Today the street is one of the most popular Zagreb attractions full of cafes and bars.
- Porta di Pietra (Kamenita Vrata) - Before you head to this mountain north of Zagreb, visit Kamenita vrata (‘the Stone gate’), on Grič, another name for Gradec. This formed a part of the defensive fortifications of the historic village, and in its passage is the Chapel of Our Lady of the Stone Gate, the patron saint of the city.
