- Julian Alps - Experience the enchanting Lake Bled, transitioning from the lively atmosphere of Ljubljana to a serene paradise, all within a 30-minute drive. Bled Castle and Lake are perched on the edge of Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps. With so much to do at Bled, especially during the tourist season, it’s impossible to see and experience everything in one afternoon. Therefore, the guide will assist in organizing time according to individual preferences.
- Bled - Enjoy a swim in the lake, cycle around, sail on a traditional Pletna boat to Bled Island, explore Bled Castle, or simply take a leisurely stroll. Relax at one of the many lakeside bars and savor the traditional Bled cream cake, while being mesmerized by the views of Lake Bled, surrounded by majestic mountains.

Excellent day trip - highly recommend - Excellent trip - we were a small group of 3 and our guide Hrvoje was fantastic. He gave us lots of interesting information about both Slovenia and Croatia and gave us great recommendations of what to see both in Ljubljana and Lake Bled. He recommended we visited the castle at Lake Bled and what a recommendation the views were sensational such a beautiful place. We loved the whole trip and would highly recommend going on an excursion with Pathfinders and if you get Hrvoje as your guide you will not be disappointed.

Very nice tour, ... - Very nice tour, Ljubljana and Bled lake are lovely places to visit. We were a small group and Lucas (our guide) did a great job showing us around and taking care of everything in order have a smooth tour. He gave us a lot of information for both for the visited places and Croatia. He even went back to the car to get us umbrellas when a light rain started during the city tour.

Best day tour!! - We had a wonderful experience with Pathfinder, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Even though the day was quite dull and the weather wasn’t at its best, our tour leader Dino completely turned it around and made the trip to Lake Bled and Ljubljana truly enjoyable.
Dino took exceptional care of us from start to finish. He is extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the history, culture, and local life of Slovenia, which made both destinations come alive despite the gloomy weather. His professionalism, warm personality, and attention to detail made everyone feel comfortable and well looked after.
Thanks to Dino, what could have been an ordinary day became a memorable and engaging experience. If you’re considering a tour with Pathfinder, you’ll be in great hands, especially if Dino is your guide. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Slovenia - Had a great day with Lucy our tour guide. She led and drove us smoothly through Slovenia and it's natural beauties . Lake Bled was amazing,we went to the castle for the views as our guide Lucy suggested and the views were just wow. You can see the beautiful green lake below from a cliff above, nestled between heavily forested hills all sorounded with big Alpine mountains and its snowy peaks. Go for the views on the castle, you will not regret it. After the castle Lucy drove us down to the lake and Bled village. Cute ride to and through a little Alpine lake town with a church. It was Christmas market so it was quite lively down at the lake with traditional peasant food all around. Great visit and then 45 min drive to Ljubljana. What a charming and romantic city with a lovely vibe. Lucy gave us a tour of the city. You get a funicular roundtrip ride to the castle for the views included. Did that and then had free time in the city. It was also Christmas market so it was very vibrant with local traditional food all around. Ljubljana is a beautiful town, lives around the river connected with small bridges and completely pedestrian. Just loved it. And go figure... When we came back to Zagreb it was Cristmas market again😅😋Thank you Lucy for a memorable day and all the stories you shared with us. We will come back!

Outstanding day trip to Slovenia!!! - This day trip was absolutely spectacular from start to finish! Lake Bled was magical in person—the calm water, the charming island church, and the breathtaking views from the castle made it feel like a real-life fairytale.
Our guide, Marin, truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly kind, very prompt, and impressively informative throughout the entire journey. His deep knowledge of Slovenia’s history, culture, and hidden gems added so much richness to the trip, and his warm personality made everyone feel welcome and well cared for.
Ljubljana was the perfect final stop. The city is beautiful on its own, but visiting during the Christmas season made it absolutely unforgettable. The Christnas market was glowing with festive lights, charming stalls, delicious treats, and a cozy holiday atmosphere.
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough—perfectly organized, paced well, and enriched by an outstanding guide. If you’re visiting Slovenia, this day trip is a must!

Great day out - Had a wonderful day travelling solo as my husband was ill. Felt comfortable the whole day and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Marin our guide and driver was sensational and a wealth of knowledge. Having free time at both locations was great. Ljubljana was beautiful and the drive from there to Bled was stunning with the snow capped mountains in front of us.
