- Zagreb - 7:45-8:15 AM: Your day will start in the morning with the guide picking You up at your chosen location in Zagreb’s city center. As you settle into the comfortable van, your guide provides an overview of the day’s itinerary and shares interesting facts about the destinations you’ll be visiting.
8:15-10:00 AM: The journey from Zagreb to Rastoke village takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Enjoy the scenic drive through the picturesque Croatian countryside, passing villages and lush greenery along the way. Also, learn something about rich croatian history that dates back more than 2 thousand years.
- Rastoke - Approximately 2 hours into your day, we will arrive at Rastoke village. Experience the quaint charm of this destination, often referred to as the “Little Plitvice”. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Croatia, this hidden gem offers a delightful tranquil ambiance and scenic views.
Take a leisurely stroll through the village streets, capturing photos of its charming waterfalls and historic mills. Then, unwind with a coffee break at one of the cozy riverside cafes before we continue our journey.

Welcome to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This stunning park features sixteen lakes connected by cascading waterfalls. The mineral-rich waters carve through rock, depositing tufa, while clouds of butterflies drift above wooden footbridges and pathways that wind around the edges and across the rumbling water.
On the tour, you’ll explore the charming, traditional watermill village of Rastoke, known for its picturesque watermills and the beautiful Korana River. It’s a perfect example of people living in harmony with nature.
After visiting Rastoke, we will drive for another half hour in a comfortable van to reach Plitvice Lakes National Park. There, we’ll embark on an 8.5 km walking tour, exploring both the Upper and Lower Lakes. Besides walking through the National Park, you’ll enjoy a scenic boat and train ride.

- Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, only Lower Lakes can be visited, and depending on weather conditions, the train and electric boats do not operate.

- Approx. 8.5km (5.3mil) walk is the length of the walking tour in the park (highseason). You will see all the highlights, and don’t worry there are no big inclines so it’s an enjoyable walk.
