- Slunj - Arrive at the historic river village of Rastoke in Slunj, located at the junction of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Explore the well-preserved watermills and charming waterfalls, and appreciate the unique architecture of the riverside houses.
Here, the water literally flows through the yards of the homes where residents live, with some still using the mill to process grain! Visitors can also take a refreshing swim in the emerald waters of the Korana River!
There is a designated swimming area, complete with a diving board up to 5 meters high. This spot is increasingly popular as a rest area for tourists traveling to the sea!

The national park is world famous for its 16 lakes arranged in cascades and connected by a series of waterfalls. These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. This heavily forested park hides 75 endemic plants,55 different species of orchids,160 bird species and even bears and wolfs!
On the way, you will stop at Rastoke ethno village. With its well-preserved mills and picturesque little waterfalls Rastoke Ethno village, often referred to as ‘Little Plitvice’, makes a great place to prepare yourself for the magnificence of Plitvice National Park.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. The tour includes prox. 5km of walking on uneven surfaces -please wear comfortable walking shoes (we visit highlights of both, the Lower Lakes and the Upper Lakes).
