Exploring beyond Zagreb - Lots to see in the castle. Varazdin is a nice city. Our driver/ guide ( Ned) was very informative and made our day perfect. He even returned to the hotel the day after to bring sunglasses we forgot behind. Thanks a million.

Glorious scenery & Fascinating History - Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed an unrushed day visiting Trakoscan Castle and Varadzin under the expert guidance of Mislav. Both locations were beautiful and fascinating, and the back-roads route (we had the option of the 20-minute-faster highway route too) gave us a chance to see more of Croatia on the way.
Mislav was a great guide and I thoroughly enjoyed spending a couple of hours chatting with him as we drove. All in all, this was an excellent day and I have no hesitation in recommending the tour.

Castle was a quiet and great place to visit - Really enjoyed visiting the castle and was great to see the artefacts and views. Wasn’t too busy which made it a very nice experience. Enjoyed seeing Varozdin- perhaps had less purpose and we didn’t get too much info about the town. Needed either more or less time here. Did stop at a very nice restaurant for lunch (extra to the tour). Would have been good to have been in a car with AC - got hot on the way home.
