Best ever welcome to Zagreb - We had an absolutely delightful tour with Karlo -- and that was no easy feat as we had just arrived after 15 hours of travel with two young kids (ages 7 & 9) who were even more loopy than ever and dodged rain throughout the evening. Yet, Karlo made everything absokutely enjoyable. He met us right at our hotel, tailored the tour to the fleeting attention spans of the kids and even brought them snacks to keep them happy along the way. I was actually very worried the kids would be unbearable and ruin the entire experience, but Karlo pulled out every trick he had to ensure that did not happen. I was grateful (and relieved). Plus, he found just the right moments to go into greater depth on the history of Zagreb with me, offering so many interesting details and fascinating facts in so little time. Overall, thanks to Karlo, it ended up being the perfect welcome to Zagreb despite the somewhat uncooperative weather! We got to stretch our legs after a long flight, learn loads more about Zagreb and Croatia and learned our way around the city city well enough to navigate it solo the next day. I can't think of a better way to kick off a stay in Zagreb. This tour was faboulous!!!

The Best Walking Tour - This was such a valuable tour to begin our stay in Zagreb! Not only did we learn a ton about Zagreb’s and Croatia’s history, we were also able to learn how to get around the city. We saw many landmarks, buildings and locations and learned how they came to be and how they were important to Zagreb as a city. The tour also came with an amazing list of recommendations of things to do, restaurants to visit and much more from our fantastic guide, Karlo. Karlo was so personable and informative and he made the tour such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour and any other tours by this company! I promise that you will have a fantastic experience!

An experience we will never forget... - My family and I took a private walking tour with Karlo. I can not say enough about how wonderful it was. Our son was studying abroad in Zagreb and he was astonished at all he learned. Karlo is the third generation of his family born and raised in Zagreb. His knowledge and personal touch was priceless.

Excellent personalised tour given with expert knowledge and enthusiasm - This tour was superb from the excellent personal communication before we arrived in Zagreb to the fun walk around this beautiful city’s historic highlights. Karlo’s knowledge was encyclopaedic, but not delivered in dry facts but in stories and accompanied by a gallery of photographs showing the life of Zagreb and its people through the past century. Karlo’s love of the city and his country came shining through. We learned so much and this tour oriented us and enabled us to get the most out of the city for the rest of our stay. Karlo and his wife’s company name truly reflected a ‘bespoke’ experience. Thank you Karlo.

The only way to see Zagreb and Croatia - We are very delinquent in making this review of our Zagreb walking tour, however, Christmas is coming, so Merry Christmas Karlo! Seriously, after reading the other reviews which are all spot on, you'd be silly to look anywhere else but to Bespoke Croatia and Karlo for this and any of the three other tours we did with him during our short five days in and around Zagreb. Our experience with Karlo, starting more than a year prior to setting foot in Croatia, kept exceeding our greatest expectations. We've been blessed to travel quite a bit in our retirement and fortunate to have had a number of very good private tours, however, we have never given any tour five stars until now. If we could give him 5+ we would have. So read all the other reviews for more details and just know that you'll be in for a fabulous holiday from the time you walk out of the airport until you have to return again. Bill & Gale

A great introduction to Zagreb/Croatia. - This was our first of five tours with Karlo. He picked up us on time with his comfortable and luxury van from Zagreb airport and we continued on a walking tour of Zagreb. It was the perfect introduction. We walked the streets while he explained the history, politics, and culture of Croatia. There were many hidden gems and historic buildings that I am certain you will not find in any guide books. He also helped us decide how to spend the rest of our limited time and took us to a very traditional Croatian restaurant which was a great way to end the day. If you are going to Zagreb do yourself a favor and go with Karlo. He is the best!

Fantastic tour of Zagreb - We had the best walking tour of Zagreb and possibly our entire Croatia trip with Karlo as our guide. He is just awesome! It was our first tour of the trip and we couldn't have had a better person to familiarize us with the city, the history, the culture of Croatia. Karlo went above and beyond to make our tour memorable. An example is when he brought us to the Lotrščak tower for the cannon firing at noon. Then he took us to a great restaurant, helped us order and made sure we will have an excellent experience there. He also does customized tours so I was able to request and add a short excursion after our walking tour, which made the Zagreb experience complete. I will be reaching out to Karlo again if (rather when) I visit Croatia again. Thank you, Karlo!
