Rastoke - A brief stop will be made at the village of Rastoke in the city of Slunj. This historic watermill village, known for its remarkable natural beauty and tradition, is located where the Slunjčica River merges with the Korana River, creating numerous waterfalls and lakes. Much of the traditional architecture was damaged during the Homeland War, but locals have been encouraged to preserve and restore these structures due to their environmental and ethnological significance.
Plitvice Lakes National Park - Just a half-hour drive from Slunj is Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, covering over 300 square kilometers. Plitvice Lakes National Park, renowned for its stunning beauty, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 for its geological and ecological importance. The tour includes a walk to explore the 16 terraced lakes connected by waterfalls, a boat ride across the lake, and a panoramic train ride.
After exploring Plitvice Lakes, your guide can suggest a restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Croatian cuisine for lunch.

Klis Fortress and Half-Day Trip to Trogir

As you explore the ancient walls and towers, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and learn about the fortress’s historical significance in defending the region over the centuries. After absorbing the history and scenery, the tour will proceed to the next exciting destination.
Historic City of Trogir - Just a short drive from Klis, Trogir is a beautifully preserved medieval city situated on a small island 27 kilometers northwest of Split. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Trogir is celebrated for its exceptional urban continuity, featuring a street plan dating back to the Hellenistic period, Romanesque churches, and stunning Renaissance and Baroque buildings. As you wander through its narrow, cobbled streets, you’ll encounter elegant palaces and sacred architecture that reflect centuries of cultural heritage.
After visiting Klis and Trogir, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or in Split Old Town in the early afternoon. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Split at your leisure. Your guide will be happy to recommend must-visit places, hidden gems, and local experiences to help you make the most of your time in this vibrant coastal city.
