  • People’s Palace Museum - Once used by the Sultanate of Oman in Zanzibar until 1994, this museum is currently closed. Travelers will stop outside the building while our guide provides information about the palace.
  • House of Wonders - Built in 1883, this was the first tallest building in East Africa and the first to have an elevator. Currently under maintenance, travelers will stop outside to learn about its history from our guide.
  • Darajani - Our guide will lead visitors through Darajani Market, particularly to see the fish market, spices, and fruits, and to shop for gifts.
  • Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral - This site was where East African slaves were sold. Our professional guide will share the history of slavery in East Africa, including details about slave auctions, monuments, and chambers.
  • The Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) - Originally a Portuguese fort from 1700, later taken over by Arabs. Here, travelers can shop, visit the old theater, and see the grounds once used as a railway station, tennis court, and ladies’ club, now hosting concerts and souvenir shops.
  • Forodhani Gardens - Travelers can take a short break here for drinks or to rest.
