The best way to explore Stone Town - The best and most unique way to explore Zanzibar Stone Town. Also, such a good value for money - so much food- make sure not to have breakfast or dinner the night before - Great value for money!

Great Stone Town Food Experience - Haj was AMAZING! He was early at the meeting spot, which was clear and easy to find. For the tour, Haj took us all throughout Stone Town, gave us a Zanzibar history lesson, and took us to some off the beaten path food vendors. We got to explore the traditional food & spice market, and got to have street food that there was no way western tourists (like us) would find on our own. 10/10 recommend this tour!

Best Foodie guide ever. - As I understand it, this company uses contractors for their tour guides. So, I am rating Musawir, as he was amazing. If you book this tour and he is not your guide, you are missing out! Musawir is friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. He's passionate about 3 things, children, cats and tourists, who all need taking care of! I explained early on that I was interested in tasting local foods, but have a small appetite. He was very accommodating, making sure I got to taste many things, but that nothing went to waste (we're both passionate about not wasting). And he knows his local street food vendors. He took me to his favorite chapati maker, and it was the best chapati I have ever had, incredible. Took me to a happening Zanzibar mix place, ate a few dishes at a small (2 table) restaurant. We also had a lovely sugar cane juice with lime. Toward the end of the tour he asked me if I wanted a cup of coffee, and I couldn't, I was just too full. Aha, he says, I have just the thing, and got me a cup of ginger tea. Wow, it was perfect. He also took me to a local spice shop, not the ones where they overcharge tourists, but the local shop, where all the local Mamas buy their spices. I got all my spices to bring home for half what I would have paid in the markets. All in all a great tour, thanks to Musawir!!

Excellent - This was a great tour. Musawir is authentic and easy to talk to. He's picky about the places he shows you, and he's also quite knowledgeable about the history and techniques behind the food. We went places I would have never been able to find myself, where we tried foods I'd never have known to order.

Excellent foodie tour - Can’t recommend this tour more. We tried all sorts of Zanzibari street foods, explored the fruit and fish markets, drank coffee with the locals, and more. Musawir is a knowledgeable, funny, and friendly guide - he really goes the extra mile! An excellent choice for anyone curious about local cuisine and life in Stone Town.

Authentic Stone Town - We had a fantastic time on our ~3hour food tour! Not only did we get to sample a selection of Zanzibarian food (food we'd not think to try otherwise) but we also got a glimpse into the history and culture of the island. Our tour guide was knowledable and friendly. I highly recommend this experience to all.

Fun tour made easy - A very nice walk with an engaging guide. Haji was entertaining and helpful in pointing out various interesting things. We had a fun time! Also, dealing with the company for booking and details was a dream. We booked last minute but it was no problem. Good communication, prompt and professional.
