Kassim was very... - Kassim was very knowledgeable on the history of the area but on the whole of Africa too. Very kind and patient. A great idea to visit the city with a guide, otherwise not much to do and you get lost in the alleys..

Exceptional walking tour with very knowledgeable guide - Highly recommend this waking tour with Kassim. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and easily shared the rich and complicated history of Zanzibar as we walked the streets. This was a great way to get oriented in the windy streets and get a feel for the local areas by passing through the markets as well as the tourist areas.

Tour of Stone Town. - We were met promptly at the meet up spot. Provided history and details along the tour. We chose a private tour as we prefer to tour without a large group. Our guide was aware of the affect of the heat and humidity. He chose shady spots to explain details on route. Stopped part way for a water break if we needed. He also provided a toilet stop along the way. The tour included our entrance to the slave market museum. We were able to tour at our pace. We were returned to our meet up place. We chose to tour the Freddie Mercury museum on our own after the tour. Tour was just shy of 2 hours. We feel the tour was good value. Guide was knowledgeable. Thank you for a great introduction to Stone Town and some history.

Customized tour - This was an excellent tour from a local guide (Kassim) who knows a lot about the area and it’s history. Didn’t hesitate to go off script for a special request if you are interested in something in particular. Highly recommended.

An excellent walking tour of Stone Town - Kassim was an excellent guide. He provided us with lots of information throughout our tour and was very hospitable throughout the tour. The tour was paced very well and we never felt rushed. Kassim had insight at each stop. Equally important was his candor whenever we asked questions which was rare as he covered most topics very well. I highly recommend a tour with Kassim.

Alright to kill some time in zanzibar - Nothing much exciting except small tiny alleyways, streets, spices and to know a bit about history and culture of zanzibar.
