Great walking tour - Ali was very knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about Zanzibar and had a lovely few hours walking around. Would highly recommend :)

The experience is both educational and entertaining, as highlighted by a review from June 27, 2024:
Cultural full day exploring Zanzibar - We started our tour at the Jozani forest, then the spice farm and finished at Stone Town - which was great for us, as it meant we got to check out the night market in stone town. My personal favourite was the spice farm tour, we learnt so much about fruits and spices and our tour guide at the farm was friendly and charming and played a quiz with us which made the experience more enjoyable.
Embracing Nature at Jozani Forest
For those seeking a deeper connection with nature, the Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Stone Town. On the morning of November 24th, venture into the heart of the island with the Heritage Tour, where you’ll explore the lush landscapes of Jozani Forest. This protected area is home to the rare Red Colobus Monkeys, a species found only in Zanzibar.
As you wander through the forest, the air is filled with the sounds of wildlife and the rustle of leaves. The forest’s unique ecosystem, nurtured by the island’s tropical climate, is a haven for nature lovers. The tour, available from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM, offers a chance to witness the delicate balance of life in this vibrant ecosystem. A review from June 15, 2024, captures the essence of this experience:
Taste of Zanzibar - We had a fabulous time. Driver took great care of us and we had brilliant guides at all of our stops. They all had fantastic knowledge and showed us all the highlights. We loved the Jozani forest where we found out about the various trees and we took some great pictures of the monkeys.
As the weekend draws to a close, the memories of Zanzibar’s rich heritage and natural beauty will linger long after you’ve left its shores. Whether you’re exploring the historic streets of Stone Town, savoring the flavors of the spice farms, or immersing yourself in the tranquility of Jozani Forest, this weekend promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of Zanzibar’s cultural and ecological wonders.
