- The Vintgar Gorge is off-limits during the winter season (alternative destination - Savica Waterfall: 3 € per person).
- Rafting on the Sava River acts as a substitute for a visit to Lake Bohinj. The activity is weather-dependent and requires a certain number of participants onboard with the rafting company.
