Tianzi Mountain - In the morning, guests will be picked up from hotels located in the downtown area of Zhangjiajie city. The first destination today is Tianzi Mountain. This 21-square-mile mountain landscape offers unbeatable views. Visitors are consistently amazed by the tower-like peaks that rise dramatically from the forested ground. With a bit of luck, one might witness the breathtaking sea of clouds after a rain clears.

Yuanjiajie - Next, proceed to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. This is the most renowned spot in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and served as the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in the famous movie Avatar. The Bailong Elevator, the tallest and heaviest elevator globally, will transport visitors to Yuanjiajie in just 1 minute and 58 seconds. Upon exiting the elevator, a vast natural “landscape painting” unfolds before you, with towering quartz-sandstone pillars nearby.

Golden Whip Brook - Golden Whip Stream meanders like a jade ribbon through Zhangjiajie’s towering sandstone pillars. Walking along its shaded path, visitors are surrounded by crystal-clear water, lush greenery, and playful monkeys, offering a true immersion in a natural masterpiece.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon - Glass Bridge-Tianmen Mountain-Zhangjiajie Departure

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie - After breakfast, a 40-minute drive leads to the Grand Canyon, where dense trees, cascading waterfalls, and mist over the stream, cliffs, and caves create a unique landscape. The Glass Bridge, the main attraction here, is suspended between two canyon cliffs. Walking across the bridge is thrilling but rewarding for the panoramic view of the entire Grand Canyon.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Then, head to Tianmen Mountain. The world’s longest cable car will transport visitors to the mountain’s summit. Upon arrival, explore the Tianmen Temple, dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Visitors can also walk on the glass skywalk, constructed with transparent glass against the cliffs.

Follow the guide to Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Door Cave), a natural stone archway that is 131.5 meters high and 57 meters wide, taking about 0.5 hours to walk through.

Later, a shuttle bus will take visitors down the mountain via the 99-bend Road, a mountain road with stunning scenery on both sides.

Zhangjiajie - After the tour, guests can be dropped off at Zhangjiajie airport or train station (Please book flights/trains departing after 19:00). Alternatively, if not departing by flight/train today and interested, visitors can explore the 72 Tower in the evening, with entrance tickets purchased on-site.
