BaiLong Elevator - In the morning, the tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. The exact meeting time will be confirmed prior to the start of your tour. Begin your incredible journey to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Upon entering through the East Gate, the guide will accompany you to the Bailong Elevator, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the tallest and fastest outdoor sightseeing lift in the world.
Yuanjiajie - After exiting the elevator, you will arrive at the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. The most renowned attraction here is the Hallelujah Mountain, which inspired the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. You will also be captivated by other natural marvels such as the Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and First Bridge under Heaven.
Lunch is at your own expense today. There are food options available in the mountain area, though prices are slightly higher. The guide will provide recommendations and assistance. However, local dishes tend to be spicy, salty, and greasy, which may not suit everyone’s taste. Therefore, it is advisable to have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and pack some bread or snacks for a simple lunch.
Tianzi Mountain - Take a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain, often described as “an enlarged bonsai, a minified fairyland.” With its diverse rare plants and protected animals, it is a haven for nature enthusiasts. Descend the mountain by cable car with the guide.
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Next, experience the Glass Bridge spanning the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Are you brave enough to walk across the world’s highest and longest transparent bridge? Give it a try, and feel as if you’re walking in the air! If heights are intimidating, you can use the opaque sections on either side. Standing on it, you can’t help but exclaim “wow” at the panoramic view of the canyon and the abyss below. Note that bungee jumping, sightseeing elevator, zipline, and lake cruise are not included in the entrance fee for Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon tours.
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Zhangjiajie - In the morning, the guide will pick you up from your hotel at the pre-arranged time and drive you to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park.
Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Today, visit Tianmen Mountain, the highest peak in Zhangjiajie. It features the famous Tianmen Cave (Heaven’s Gate), the exhilarating Glass Skywalk, and the world’s longest passenger cableway, offering a blend of beauty and excitement. Tianmen Cave, a massive natural archway, is steeped in ancient Chinese myths and is a favorite among extreme sports fans. The 999-step Heavenly Stairway leading to it gives the impression that heaven is within reach. At the summit, gather your courage to challenge the Glass Skywalk clinging to a cliff. Note that shoe covers are required for this transparent path and must be purchased separately. Additionally, a 28-minute cable car ride between the summit and downtown will be arranged, showcasing Zhangjiajie’s mountain landscapes, rural scenes, and city views.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

- We guarantee 100% No Shopping Stops in our tours. When you check some other tours, if they don’t mention no shopping, they MUST have commissioned based shopping stops as jade factory or tea ceremony. Even you don’t see shopping related words in their itineraries or product introduction, it is indeed a shopping tour. Be sure to check out with them about the shopping stops and read reviews from their clients carefully to see what the real experience would be. By joining a shopping tour like that, your time spent on attractions will be shortened, and you will be pressured to buy overpriced items. Normally the so called jade factory or tea ceremony is the tourist trap. You have to stay there an hour or more for those travel agents to get the commission from the factory stores. If you prefer to enjoy the tour thoroughly, you are suggested to choose a tour without any annoying shopping stops just like ours.
