A good guide can make your tour so valuable. - Nicholas Ying was the guide and driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Nicholas was so familiar with all the spots we wanted to see( Yangminsan, national museum, Chainkaishek memorial, 101 bldg driving around Taipei city, enjoy native Taiwan cooking… etc It was wonderful because of his knowledge of all facets of the places…

Taipei - Vincent and Ryan were great….we learned so much about the history. Despite the rainy weather we got to see a lot…to Shifen for sky lanterns which was very cool, then on to the Golden Waterfall and to Jiufen. Ate at a very cool tea house which was accessed by walking thru a tunnel carved out of the mountain. We had a group of 12 and they were very protective of us. Would highly recommend!

Taipei is Amazing! - The tour was incredible! The driver and guide Paul take us to the main spot lights and beautiful places for pictures! In a short time we could visit many interestings places. He also taught us about Taiwan history. The car was so confortable. I extremely recommend!

Great fast trip to see the major sites - We had a wonderful time doing this trip with our guide Tim . He was knowledgeable and took us to all of the major sites for our half-day trip. I cannot recommend this trip anymore!

An Amazing Day in Taipei - My mom & I had so much fun on this tour. Our guide/driver Junior was so knowledgeable and seeing Taipei through the eyes of a local who knows the important & worthwhile sights made this tour even better. Highly recommend for those who want to see Authentic Taipei

Personalized Car Tour Was a Good Choice - The 5 hours spent with our private guide went very well & we enjoyed getting to see & do what we specifically wished to see. Our guide, Vincent, was informative & very pleasant. The only thing I must mention is that this tour is presented in a misleading manner - I printed out what was stated as a sample itinerary that shows all the sights that are listed as “pass by” & then it says you can request to stop & visit up to about 5 sights. After selecting the sights to be visited, I still assumed that we’d be passing by the other sights. But it turned out that the long list is only a suggestion of the possible sights to visit. It should be presented differently so that it is clear. One place that we couldn’t fit in due to the distance was the Lin Mansion & Gardens. The following day we did the Northern Taipei tour from the same company (YOLO Tours) & when I mentioned this to our guide, Harry, he managed to get us there 15 minutes before closing & gave me a quick, but thorough tour of the property. I was very pleased by all the YOLO tours. In addition, all the guides love taking photos & know the best spots for picture taking.

We hit a moped rider! - James was very nice, but it was difficult to understand. There were two very scary traffic incidents. The first one James hit a moped but no injuries or damage occurred. The second one was on the highway and we almost re-rented a car in front of us at a high rate of speed. James had to slam on the brakes, and my wife was not holding my child tightly in the backseat he would’ve gone flying. I thought for sure we were going to be in a serious car accident. We started our tour at about 2 PM and we were dropped back off at 9:22 PM. I was charged 3 hours of overtime = NT1,500. Ultimately, we had the freedom to go wherever we wanted to within an hour allotted time frame but I just don’t think this experience was worth the money. I would love to come back and see Taipei on its own specific trip. The city is beautiful.
