Great tour with many interesting features! - This was a great tour! Getting outside of Taipei and experiencing the countryside and culture in a different way was wonderful! Highlights of the day were the beautiful waterfall and the time spent in Juifen! The market with many cultural items to buy as well as various foods in a unique and beautiful location in the mountains along the coast was fun! Great, accomodating guide as well! I highly recommend! Do be aware that there is significant walking involved at each stop with stairs as well.

Seeing Beyond the City - This tour will really help you make the most of your trip to Taiwan. My friend and I only stayed in Taiwan for 3 days but we felt as though we got to see so much mostly because of this tour. Our guide, Jimmy, was a complete professional. He was so friendly and so knowledgeable about Taiwan, being more than happy to answer any questions our small group had for him. It was just the right balance of being given guidance and being allowed to explore places for ourselves. Even when driving through the landscape, it felt like there was so much beautiful scenery to take in. I would for sure recommend setting aside a day for this tour - you won’t regret it!

A trip not to be missed! - Highly recommend this trip! Our tour guide Lynn was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and went the extra mile for us by ordering unique food and giving us all the local intel. Yehliu was very unique, Jiufen was beautiful and the lantern release was the highlight of my trip.

Nice places to visit - Definitely worth while with comfortable ride and lots to see. The meeting point could have been explained better and the driving time Was silent (no music or information about geography or history of Taipei which was disappointing) Jonny was friendly but interaction was limited to telling us where we were and when to get back to the car.

Lantern wishes - I enjoyed the lantern making and sending it up. I wish the whole procedure was explained prior to it’s happening.

Mainly about the transport - There was a lot packed into a day and a coach. We covered everything as promised on the itinerary but at a pace. This is best thought of as a way of getting to these places which would be hard to do on your own. The geopark was interesting. Shifen and Jiufen were absolutely heaving with people in very narrow streets. Worth seeing but not particularly pleasant. If you've seen waterfalls elsewhere it's no great shakes. Our guide Bobo had a hard job moving us at all at that pace which meant that a lot of people couldn't keep up with her or got to her by the time she had finished speaking.

Not worth your money and time - Didn’t like this vendor at all, very unprofessional. They basically outsourced to a local guy who supposedly speaking English, but, turned out not quite. Used a small sedan, 4 of us squeezed in it very uncomfortable.

The unprofessional tour guide ruined the whole experience - The tour guide, Mr. Chen, was not professional enough. It was not about his English-speaking skills. It was about his lack of communication and professionalism throughout the tour. He planned the entire itinerary based on 'his convenience' For example, he took us to Jiufen in the morning so that he could find a car park easily. He said it himself; it was good timing so that he could park there. He took us to walk through part of the old street quickly without sharing much of the history of the town. The majority of the shops were not even open yet at that time. When asked if we got to spend some time at 阿妹茶樓, he said no and added that it was not a good restaurant in his opinion. Well, it's not his job to decide that, is it? We feel like we have missed out on the experiences we could have had. When we were in the car or van, he talked to us a lot, more about what he has done for business in the past and what his opinions were about some topics that were unrelated to the tour. He was worried more about the parking space and traffic the entire trip than the whole experience the customers were getting. I happened to be the only Taiwanese in the group, and I kind of know these places already and what a great tour would look like. I was there for my partner. I felt sorry for the rest of the group. They came to Taiwan and chose to join this full-day tour to enjoy the attractions, yet the guy did not try to provide the best experience. At the end of the tour, the last stop was the night market. Again, without clear communication to the entire group, he dropped everyone off at the night market around 4 p.m. Nothing was open! So we walked around and left. Such a waste of our time.
