• Miyahara - Miyahara is a red-brick building constructed by Japanese ophthalmologist Miyahara Takeo in 1927. It was the largest ophthalmology clinic in Taichung during the Japanese colonial era. Fortunately, Dawn Cake, a pastry company famous for its pineapple cakes, acquired the building and preserved Miyahara’s original red-brick walls and archway.

Additionally, we will visit the Fourth Credit Union, another structure transformed from traditional Taiwanese architecture, blending the charm of the past and present. No longer a financial institution, it now offers a variety of ice creams to enjoy.

• Rainbow Village Taichung - This area features artwork created by a former soldier who began painting houses in his settlement, now known as Rainbow Village, to save them from demolition. Over the years, his colorful artwork, depicting birds, animals, and people, has spread over the remaining houses in the village, which once had 1,200 homes.
• Gaomei Wetland - Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Gaomei Wetlands, a magical expanse where nature’s finest elements come together in a mesmerizing display. Observe the wetland ecology, including mudskippers, fiddler crabs, and countless birds, up close. You can also experience the breathtaking beauty of the sunset at Gaomei Wetlands.

Starting from Taipei, we will take you to visit popular check-in spots in Taichung: Zhongshe Tourism Flower Market, Miyahara(special ice cream), Rainbow Village. As the sky turns dark, prepare to be stunned by the breathtaking sunset at Gaomei Wetlands. Watch as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow across the serene wetlands and creating a picture-perfect moment that’s sure to leave a lasting impression. Since the sunset time in Gaomei Wetland changes depending on seasons, the departure time in winter (October-March) is 9:00am, and the departure time in summer (April-September) is 10:00am.
