The Donghai Bridge connects the mainland to Yangshan Deep-water Port. The bridge is 32.5 kilometers long, the bridge deck is two-way six-lane expressway. Donghai Bridge is designed into an S-shaped because of the safety issue. Donghai Bridge gets a 100-year service guaranteed with an 80km/h speed limit.

Yangshan Deepwater Harbor - Yangshan Deep Water Port, located close to a chain of islands between the Hangzhou Bay and the mouth of the Yangtze River. Built to circumvent growth limitations for the Port of Shanghai as a result of shallow waters, it allows berths with depths of up to 15 meters to be built, and is capable of handling the largest container ships today.
