Paddle alongside a guide as you make the 45 minute trip to Las Gatas Beach, where you’ll pause for a cold beer or a bottle of water before starting an hour snorkel tour of the Las Gatas seawall.
Everything from hermit crabs to tropical fish makes their home on the sheltered inner surface of the seawall, and you’ll also find sea urchins and sea cucumbers among the coral reef formations. Swim as far as the ‘king of kings’ statue, an underwater statue of Jesus.
Return to shore for lunch on the beach, choosing from a main dish of fish filet or shrimp or chicken fajitas or cheese quesadillas.
Relax on the beach for 1 hour and 45 minutes to soak up the sunshine or swim, then return to your kayak for the trip back to La Ropa Beach, this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel at roughly 3:30 P.M.

Fun, interesting, and well worth it! - Outstanding day. Louis and Pablo were very knowledgeable and professional. Pablo took us on the Kayaking and Snorkeling tour and was great at pointing out the various fish. Also wonderful stories about the history of Mexico. One of the group members was a challenge, leaving the group in the middle of an activity. Pablo could not have been more patient and professional. Highly recommend this tour!

Just do it! - Snorkeling was a great introduction to local fish and the guide, Pablo, was informative and fun to hang with. A great value and would have been difficult to enjoy as much if we did it DIY. Also a good amount of paddling was welcome as exercise.

Just say yes! - Luis and his crew took great care of us and his English is great. Kayaked across the bay, got lunch (bring pesos, food and drinks are great), then snorkeling. Picked us up and dropped us off from our condo. Felt very safe and had a fantastic experience.

Best snorkeling in Zihua, even better than the snorkel in Ixtapa Island - Easy kayaking from the Zihua pier to Las Gatas Beach, settling in at the restaurant and going on a 45 minutes snorkel. Good visibility at the water break with lots of colorful fish. Snorkeling to the Jesus statue as well. After snorkeling a good lunch at the beach restaurant. Easy return kayaking to La Ropa beach. Luis and his team was amazing.

You Won't Find a Better Tour Guide - We were extremely lucky to find Luis on our first day in Zihuataneho. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and very professional. His tours are very reasonably priced, but he doesn't cut corners. Over the course of six days, we snorkled, kayaked, did a food tour, visited Ixtapa Island, released turtles (you have to try this, it's amazing), visited a coconut farm, and did a countryside tour that gave us some real insights into how Mexican people live their daily lives as hard-working, friendly, talented people. When we return to Zihuatanejo, we can't imagine touring with anyone else other than Luis.

Amazing experience - Luis is an amazing and friendly tour guide. He ensures safety and enjoyment as he cracks jokes to you during the whole tour. I would highly recommend Luis and we even scheduled more tours with him because he was just that excellent.

Perfect tour even on a tricky day! - Luis was the perfect guide and accommodated us seamlessly on a tricky day. The weather turned on us a bit and we informed him (very late) of some dietary restrictions. He arranged for a terrific lunch and revised the transportation back. We learned a lot about the area, loved kayaking in the Bay and highly recommend this tour. Muchas gracias a Luis (and Leo!)!

Best tour guide in Zihuatanejo - Luis took us on this trip and many other while we were in Zihuatanejo. He took extra care to make sure my small kids were well taken care of and having fun the whole time. We had a great kayak ride across the bay to a great snorkeling destination. We went on several trips with Luis and I could not recommend booking tours with him more.
