Baby turtles and great guides, unforgettable! - This was such an amazing trip, Ulysses and Uber were incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable of the area. Once we got to the turtle beach we took a 4 wheeler to the turtles, got an amazing presentation on the different turtles and frequencies of their visit to the beach. Afterwords my wife and I got to see and release about a hundred turtles to the water. They were so eager to find the waters edge, absolutely amazing!!! On the way back Ulysses took us to an amazing taco stand where we tried Goat Tacos. Absolutely delicious. Thank you guys for the once in a lifetime excursion, we’ll never forget it.

Baby turtles!!!! - We used Ketavi for some fun general rides around town and more fun… to see and release baby turtles at a sea turtle sanctuary! Our guides were friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort and helping educate us on the history of the turtle sanctuary. The turtle experience was truly unique and a must-experience. We helped release turtles into the ocean and watched them swim off - something I’ve never seen before!

Turtle release by coconut grove - Overall it was a great experience. They picked us at our hotel, drove us to the destination, which was pretty remote, it depends how many turtles they have to release at each location. We stopped along the way to buy snacks in the little towns. It was a remote beach by a coconut Grove. My daughter and I loved the turtle release experience, something we won't forget and hope we can come back again! Our tour guides Uber, Christopher and Luis Gabriel were so nice!

An experience you will remember fondly! - This was a beautiful and rewarding experience! Mariana met my sister and I at our hotel lobby. She informed us that we would be the only ones on this trip, and that she would take us to Playa Icacos (about an hour drive) where the beach is deserted and calm. On the way there, Mariana spoke about the towns we were driving through and about her life here. She was informative, engaging and entertaining. When we got to Petatlán, we followed Baltazar and Freddie to their “Campamento Tortuguero”. The way to the beach is absolutely beautiful; dirt roads surrounded by lush trees and beautiful palm trees. When we arrived at Icacos, we were the only people there!!! Baltazar sat us down, gave us information about the turtles they protect and about their foundation. He explained what we would be doing and made sure we didn’t have any questions. We proceeded to transfer the turtles into baskets. Since it was just the two of us, my sister and I each transferred around 25 to 30 baby turtles into baskets. Then we walked over to the shore and released them. We stayed at the shore watching each of them scurrying towards the water. It was so rewarding to realize that we helped all those turtles get their opportunity to survive. We took some pictures and recorded their journey. We left the area around 6:20 pm. After dropping off Freddie, we proceeded back into the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo area. We had a great chat with Mariana on the way back. She also offered us drinks on the way there and on the way back. She was always attentive, friendly and helpful. I will always remember this day fondly. I hope you also give yourself the chance to experience this! When we come back, we would love to find Mariana and do this again! Thank you Mariana!!!!

A spectacular way to connect with nature. Well worth the time. - From start to finish this tour was a lot of fun and informative. The guide was very well spoken in English so there was no communication breakdowns. Both her and the driver were excellent and very professional but yet very personable. We found the company to be very professional and enjoyable. The tour to release the turtles was excellent. Just. Be able to dig them from the sand. To helping them wake up. The. Watching them get stronger and finally releasing them was just a very humbling moment. Something we will always remember. I strongly urge anyone considering this tour to use this tour guide.
