• Zambezi National Park - Guests are picked up from their accommodations and taken to the dock. Once all passengers have embarked, the skipper ignites the engines, which are remarkably quiet, and begins navigating through the archipelagos in the upper reaches of the Zambezi River. Similar to other tour services, this vessel maintains a safe distance from the actual Falls, remaining 4 km (2.49 miles) distant.

The vast expanse of water naturally draws a diverse array of wildlife from the arid hinterlands seeking hydration. The river is a habitat for large groups of hippos, which have become familiar with these touring boats and can be approached safely. The more ominous crocodiles are often spotted sunning themselves on the riverbanks or stealthily moving through the waters. Frequent encounters include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, kudus, impalas, baboons, and monkeys, as well as a variety of rare birds.

Your evening sail begins with a pick-up from your accommodation and a greeting event featuring Ndebele warriors donned in traditional attire.
