Salt Cathedral marred by bait and switch - Catedral de sal, aka the Salt Cathedral is a must visit if staying in Bogota. However If booking through Chase Travel with an infant included along side adults in the reservation please be aware that Bogotravel will make you purchase the infant ticket on site and out of pocket ~ $24.00 USD with the excuse that they did not receive funds for the infant ticket from Viator and to take it up with them for credit. This was despite the voucher saying "2x Adults, 1x Infant, English Guide, Tour operator: Bogotravel tours, Powered by Viator". For this surprising bait and switch practice from Bogotravel tours I'm docking 2 points from the rating. For the English speakers here please be aware that there isn't a tour guide provided at the Salt Cathedral, rather a digital playback device with English narration. Not a big deal if you like the flexibility of going at your own pace. Do not skip the excellent 15 min 3D movie with english subtitles that gives a pretty good historical background. Allot about 2.5 hours total which includes a ~20 minute "train" ride out. The included lunch thereafter in the town of Zipaquira had live music and decent food. The town square was very cool as was the walk through the alleyways downtown. The driver was prompt with the pickup from and to our hotel. My recommendation is to visit the site anyway but go with another tour operator.

Salt Cathedral is NOT a religious Exoerience. - This experience was a disappointment. We were expecting a much quieter, more sacred cathedral experience. Instead it was more like a Disney land attraction.

Scam - It's a scam, they stop responding. They are contacted everywhere and do not respond. Recommended Zero......................................
