Excellent - It was a great experience. Our tour guide was very quick and very expert. The tour is expensive but I had great time . I just wished we had more time in the village.

A Day To Remember! - Tour Guide Emil's ability to share info in concise terms allowed one to appreciate all aspects of the tour. He shared his knowledge base readily and answered all questions in depth. As for the trip itself, it was great Emil knew how to handle all various types of transportation allowing for the smooth operation of the excursion. As for seeing the Matterhorn. - a dream come true!

Unforgettable experience - We got so incredibly lucky—the weather forecast wasn’t great, but we had sun and a clear view of the Matterhorn right up until it was almost time to leave, when the clouds rolled in. Our tour guide, Emil, was so kind, friendly, and complimentary toward my son and me. It was so nice having a smaller tour and a more personalized experience. And having a clear view of the Matterhorn was stunning, breathtaking, awesome, incredible….something I am sure my son and I will never forget.

Day Trip to Matterhorn - Matterhorn was amazing. Tour guide helps you navigate the trains/bus (part of the train offline due to flood), which was helpful to my family.

Wonderland - A fabulous but tiring day to the mountains. Although the Matterhorn decided to hide herself under cloud the mountain scene was still beautiful. Annie our guide led us through the many railway stations to enable stress free transfers. We could not have done this on our own.

Book directly with the tour company. This is merely an third party ticket seller. The customer service is a joke! - Very poor description of a meeting point and nothing marked. There is no Viator sign it is simply 'Best Of Switzerland Tours" The tour the Zermatt is basically one guide and you are going from one train station to another. In our case it was us and another couple. They call it a small group tour and there is no small bus. It is just chasing trains which you can do yourself. We tried to call to find the exact meeting point and no one answers. They tell you to meet at the Swiss Tourist Office, they have no clue about any Viator. Total waste of money! Not worth it at all! It’s literally just train transfers, barely any time at Zermatt or Gorngrat - While I knew we might not be able to see Matterhorn because the weather changed ver quickly, I was hoping the trip to be informative with tour guide and quite sometime at the Zermatt village and on top of gorngrat. However, the whole trip was literally just train transfers where we spent almost 4 hour each way on the train ( we missed the first train transfer, due to the poor booking schedule where there was literally like a 2 min transfer and because the first train was delayed, we missed the second one and had to wait for another 30 mins). On the train ride, there was barely any talk from the tour guide and he was literally there to remind us when to get off the train and where to go for the next transfer. We could have done exactly the same thing ourselves. While we were at Zermatt, we had time for a petty big Italian lunch where the tour guide took us there. However, we didn’t have any time in the village where my friend and I finished the lunch 10 mins earlier than other folks and walked a tiny bit in the village for some photos. After the cogwheel train up the gorngrat, we spent only like 30 mins there, it was barely enough time to take some photos, ran to the bathroom etc. Then we came down with the same train and spent less than 30 mins in the village before we caught the train back already. It was like 3:30pm when we headed back. I don’t know why we needed to head back so early where there were much later trains till like 6-7pm. I checked the Matterhorn view camera, the mountain showed up closer to 6pm. I wasn’t even gonna complain we didn’t see Matterhorn at all because of the weather. However, this whole trip was so disappointing with such long train ride which was completely not mentioned in the itinerary and we didn’t visit any of the places in Zermatt like cemetery, view point bridge etc mentioned in the itinerary. The trip cost almost 700 dollars per person where the train ticket was at most 350. This was just ridiculous to pay such a high price for such poor experience especially it was completely not the same in the itinerary.

Too much travel and too little time on site for a one day tour. - too much travel time for a one day adventure. Guide told us very little. He just merely got us on and off trains and busses.

Very disappointing - Tour was a complete bust. Viator notified us 3 days prior to the trip that they were cancelling (as they hadn’t filled the trip to their financial satisfaction). We rebooked the complete train trips and gondola on our own (without the “guided” tour narrative) for $800 savings (vs their charge of $1400 for 2 people). While they did fully refund the $1400, I’d never recommend depending on this tour to anyone. Very disappointing.
