Wonderful walk around the... - Wonderful walk around the city stopping into several shops for a tasting of local chocolate varieties. Definitely worth the walk with a bum knee.

James James James - I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but so glad we did it. James was great! We had many many tastings. He gave us a great tour, was very informative and we had amazing tastings!

Chocolate chocolate chocolate - Our guide James was amazing! He gave us very interesting facts about things we saw in the city. The chocolate tastings were amazing! He took us to many many locations. I highly recommend this tour. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but the tour I had was very good.

The best Chocolate tour in Zurich ! - Emeline was a fantastic guide, my girlfriend and I, we had delicious various tastings of the wonderful Swiss chocolate. It was superb ! And the nice thing was that it was only the three of us, so very special. Strongly recommended!!

Chocolate Hunting in Zurich - A very pleasant afternoon stroll through Old Town Zurich with Emmaline, a local sharing her love of the city. For the price, we expected to taste more chocolates than we did.

Disappointing - While our tour guide seemed affable, our tour with him did not match the description of the tour online. After an hour of walking and stopping in several chocolate shops, we did not get one tasting. We kept asking about the chocolate tastings and he kept offering coffee. The chocolate in Switzerland is amazing, but we had to experience that on our own. A very disappointing tour.

Price-performance ratio not correct - The guide tried very hard. However, the very expensive tour did not meet our expectations of a chocolate hunting tour, as important stops in the center of Zurich were left out (1842, Honold, Bachmann with chocolate waterfall).
The guide showed no initiative to suggest special chocolate tastings or to give exclusive tips.
All in all, a nice walk, but in terms of value for money, a complete miss of the point.

Misleading, disappointed, and outrageously overpriced - We reserved this tour as it touted getting both the history of Zurich from a local as well as hidden chocolate shops to sample from. I will repeat what the description says regarding tastings: “enjoy plenty of samples along the way”. That is a direct copy and paste. We, however, were not given any samples. Our guide informed us that we will be getting 20 Swiss francs each to spend, but we would’ve appreciated recommendations on what to buy or how to spread out our francs through each store for tastings. Our tour guide was friendly and we enjoyed his company and the information on Zurich, but I would like to see the description of this tour to be more explicit that chocolate samples will not be provided by the shops, as what it implies, but samples are what you need to buy on your own given voucher. It is not worth the money, it is incredibly expensive. I feel like we got ripped off. Stick to what is known and go to Lindt.

Waste of time and money - This was the worst tour we have ever had. The guide was late and unprepared. He was looking at his phone for directions on where to go. I don’t think he had ever been in any of the chocolate stores. He couldn’t tell us what was good about any of the different chocolates. We would have been better off just going on our own. It was so bad we ended the tour early.

Pass on this Tour - Visited 4 chocolate shops that one can easily do on their own with a little research. Overpriced for the quality of the tour.
