Unforgettable Transylvanian Adventure with Adrian: A Must-Do Tour! - I had an amazing tour with Adrian from Wise Transylvania Tours, visiting the bear sanctuary, Bran Castle, and Rasnov Fortress from Brasov. Adrian's passion and knowledge made the experience unforgettable. The bear sanctuary was heartwarming and informative, Bran Castle was rich with history and legends, and Rasnov Fortress offered stunning views and medieval insights. Adrian's storytelling and attentiveness added so much to the tour. Highly recommend this tour and guide for an authentic Transylvanian adventure. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect tour - In the last month of March, my son and I did a perfect tour leaving Brasov with Wise Transylvania. Perfect because the proposed itinerary includes such gems as Prejmer Fortified Church for its beauty and preservation; the Haramn Fortified Church; Rasnov Fortress and finally Bran Castle. We were guided by Adrian. He has the guide’s essential qualities. He knows very well what he is showing, knows how to divide the time so that all the places are seen as the customer wishes and he is very kind and attentive, has a very good vehicle for the transport. We did other tours at Romência and this was the best guide. And he also made the transfer between Brasov and Sibiu. If we had known your company in advance we would have thought of another route through Romania and it would have been even better. We intend to return to Romania and we will hire you again. Thank you, Adrian.

Best Guide in Transylvania! - My friends and I had the best 2 days in Transylvania with Adrian as our guide. We did the Rasnov Fortress, Bran Castle and Peles Castle on one day and visited Sighisoara, Rasnov and Vicri on our second day with Adrian. Both days were just wonderful - Adrian is so knowledgeable about these historical places. He made history come alive! I felt like I knew Queen Marie personally after our visit to the Bran Castle. And he has a great personality and could not have given us better service! I highly recommend reaching out to Adrian at Wise Transylvania Tours - it will make your trip one of the best trips ever!

Exceptional Guide and Incredible Tour... thanks, Adrian! - Adrian was recommended as a "true professional" by my hotel in Brasov. They were spot on. Frankly, he gives an amazingly informative, accessible and friendly tour. We did the Bran / Rasnov / Prejmer / Harman tour. (Originally, I had just requested Bran / Rasnov, but changed my mind in the morning and he was flexible.) I left with an appreciation not only of the history of the region and sites, but also with a very positive view of Romanians and Romanian culture overall. Adrian speaks perfect English and is very passionate about explaining the history and context of each historical site. He also has a library of images stored on his phone that are really helpful when answering some obscure historical questions I was asking. He's really well-prepared and informed. He is also personally on friendly terms with everyone at the sites. Let's just say that this has its privileges. For lunch, we stopped at La Promenada, right outside of Rasnov, which his dad manages. It's a completely local, authentic, inexpensive yet beautiful place. I was the only non-Romanian there, and a local couple was celebrating their 50th anniversary that day. You *have* to order the papanasi for dessert. It's unbelievable and hands-down the best dessert I've ever had. Completely homemade. I ordered it at every restaurant I went to after that, including one of the highest-end restaurants in Bucharest, but none compared. Lastly, I *highly* recommend that you see the fortified churches at Prejmer and Harman in addition to the more well-known Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress. It takes a couple more hours but they are true marvels. (They're nearby, so the time is not travel time, just time spent touring.) They also help showcase the important Saxon history in the region, which Adrian really got into and tied everything together. Overall, an incredible experience that changed my perception of Romania. Thank you!!

Our best event in Transylvania, Romania - We had 8 days holiday in Romania, and the best we experienced was two days on tour with Adrian. Beforehand we had intended to visit Brasov, Sighisoara and Sibiu. We were fortunate to get in touch with Adrian via the hotel reception. First day we would visit Rasnov Fortress and Bran Castle. Adrian was an incredibly good tour guide. He had great knowledge of history, which we appreciated. We were so satisfied after the first day that we asked for a visit to Sighisoara the next day. On the way to sighisoara he drove to Viscri where we visited the White Church and the museum. Then we went to Sighisoara, where we went to a restaurant for lunch. He ordered a real Romanian meal to our great pleasure. Here we visited churches and fascinating museums where he explained the history of the town and area. Adrian made our vacation a totally awesome experience. We enjoyed this two days with Adrian and will thoroughly recommend him.

All you ever wanted to know about sightseeing in Transylvania - Me and my friend booked an excursion to Bran Castle and Rasnov Fortress (via our hotel). Got connected by phone to Adrian of Wise Transylvania Tours and Sightseeing, who asked about our tour wishes, available time and preferred sequence of the visits. We both thought it's better to do Bran first, to avoid crowd flows, which turned out to be a smart plan. We were picked up from our hotel on time and during to the ride to Bran, we already got to hear a lot about where we were going. Adrian also checked our interests on history and desired information details, as this may be different for every tourist. In another tour (from Bucharest to Peles and Poenari Castle) with a different operator, we had a professional driver but with hardly touristic info. How more eleborate this Bran/Rasnov tour was ! I'm a fan of the Dracula / Vlad Tepes/Impaler stories and Adrian treated me on a fully detailed history line of the iconic Romanian leader & warrior, but not without placing it in perspective and in relation to what else happened before, during and after Vlad's timeline in both Romania, Hungary and Ottomania (now Turkey). We queue jumped the (still small) waiting line for Bran Castle entrance, as guides have "priviliges" ;-) and he showed us details about the old-, and new parts of the castle and who lived there, when and how. After the visit and a well deserved coffee break in the beautiful Bran town (consider to book your accommodation there), we went to the Rasnov Fortress. We were brought back to the Dacian/Roman times of just 2 centuries A.D. via the 13th, 16th and later centuries. The original design, reconstructions and - in recent times - destructive changes by private foreign filmmakers, were illustrated by the passionate and driven Adrian. We spent about 6 hours in total on these 2 landmarks. Yes, you can do it in 3 hours too if you're time restricted, but for the same budget you can step into a timecapsule and understand better what happened in the beautiful Transylvania and surrounding states. I have not encountered such a devoted guide before. Adrian also teaches new guides about regional, local and national sightseeing, and is fully trained, qualified in his services. But most of all, he enjoys what he's doing and that shows and makes your trip memorable. Wise Transylvania Tours and Sightseeing is your best choice to get impressions out there !
