Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti - The first attraction will be the Libearty Bear Sanctuary, a territory spanning across 69 hectares of coniferous forests where you will safely observe more than 90 rescued brown bears in their natural habitat. Since all bears have been rescued from poor conditions and here they can live freely in their natural environment, the sanctuary has been recognized as the most ethical one in the world.
Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - The trip will continue with a one-hour drive through the Carpathian Mountains after which you will arrive at Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle. This historical monument was originally a fortress built between 1211
1225 by the Knights of the Teutonic Order. It distinguishes itself by the imposing towers and turrets and the mystery wave that shrouds people when they cross its threshold. Also, the castle was marketed to be the home of the main character from Bram Stocker’s novel
Dracula.

Great experience - Honestly, I thought it would be pretty boring, but never in my mind would I have thought the amazing adventure we are embarking on. Romania is a very beautiful country, with lots of incredible landscapes and beautiful nature and wildlife. The Bear Sanctuary was awesome, truly crazy to see massive bears so close to you. Dracula’s castle was also great. The combination of nature sightseeing and historical tour provided a perfect balance for our one day trip. Alex was a wonderful guide and we had a lot of fun in the car.

Perfect day trip! - Stunning views! Alex was great and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the Sanctuary for anyone who likes animal wildlife. Dracula's Castle is a must! Amazing history and architecture! Will be back with friends in the summer.

Amazing fast forward exploration of rural Romania - Great shightseeing. I was highly impressed about the tour itself, the proximity of the places we have visited, representing the overall cultural and natural heritage of Romania. All in such a short trip. Highlight of our trip - Myself and two friends did this amazing tour to visit the Libearty Sanctuary in Zanesti and Bran Castle as part of a city break to Bucharest. We all agreed that the tour was the absolute highlight of our trip and I couldn't recommend it more. The tour of the sanctuary in particular is something that will stay with me. We were really lucky to have Alex as our guide, who was truly excellent. Alex has a very easy manner and made us all feel very relaxed and comfortable. Communication ahead of the trip was just right and we knew exactly where and when to meet and when to buy tickets for the sanctuary in advance. It is a long drive there and back, but Alex was a great driver and factored in a short break each way. We also took his recommendations on restaurants and bars in Bucharest and these were some of the best nights we had. Thank you very much!! If you're thinking about doing the tour, don't hesitate.

Great day - Had a fantastic day with Alex who was our tour guide. We visited two amazing places- the bear sanctuary and Dracula's castle. Alex told us about the history and some fun facts, he was very down to earth and friendly. We gad a great time!

Bear sanctuory and Brans castle - Our tour was amazing from start to finish.we were a family of 4 and we all really enjoyed it.Alex went above and beyond,he went the extra mile by taking us to peles castle too which was a real bonus and made our trip.His recomendations on things to do and restaraunts were fab too especially on where to eat.He picked us up promplty and our tour ran so smoothly with friendly chat and top tips.It was an amazing day out and made our holiday.no stress picking us up from our hotel and a nice stop on way.Thank you Alex for an amazing day,it was from start to finish one to remember.

Well worth it! - What a brilliant tour. We loved the bear sanctuary and, due to exceptionally heavy traffic, Alex suggested Peleş Castle as an alternative to Bran. Peleş Castle was beautiful and so worth the trip. Alex was a wonderful tour guide and very accommodating (including forgiving our lateness). Thank you Alex - we hope to visit Bucharest again to do another tour.
