Perfect experience! - Our two-day tour was very well organized. The places we visited in Svaneti are spectacular, far beyond our expectations. Our van was comfortable and comfortable, but above all our driver and Guide Roman is nice, kind, reliable and does his job with passion. Thanks again, Roman and Megobari Tours

Local agency super recommended! - I recommend everyone to spend some days of their trip to Georgia in the Svaneti, but above all I recommend contacting this local Tour operator. It was a great two days, we were a small group and Mikheili, our Guide, was outstanding. You can tell he loves his job! He made us feel safe, despite the roads not always easy to travel, always at our complete ease and he super helpful. We had fun, learned so much about Georgian culture that we wouldn't have known otherwise. So agency really recommended, serious and competitively priced.

Too short weekend and lots of fun - We had a short and intensive weekend and choosing Megobari tours for this trip was the best decision. The tour was interesting, informative, fun and we discovered many little (and big) treasures of Georgia. We highly recommend recommend this tour and travel company . Mikheili was our guide for the two day(1 night) and Ieva was our guide first another 1 day private tour to Martvili Canyon, Prometheus Cave and the various abandoned sanitariums at Tskaltubo. We will be back for sure!

Breathtaking trip through the mountains - We booked a private 2 day tour through the Svaneti mountains with Mikheili and it was worth every penny! And I say that as an avid budget traveler. Mikheili is very passionate about the region himself and shares almost the same excitement as yourself upon seeing the mountains and beautiful landscapes. I was a bit concerned about the weather going off-season in November but it was breathtaking! Snowy, majestic, mountains, ancient villages, friendly animals, good food - Georgian countryside is just so beautiful. It was truly a luxury to have someone navigate you through the very adventurous mountain roads and stop everywhere you wanted to take a photo or just gaze at the view for a second. Ieva went the extra mile to accommodate us by providing us with jackets and shoes for the snowy hike, as we weren't prepared. I can only recommend this tour to anyone!! Pricing is really fair for the service that they offer!

A fantastic tour - a fantastic trip that allows you to delve into the landscapes of the Caucasus, appreciate the view of the glaciers, go trekking and learn about the ancient culture of these places. The old monastery of Mary is beautiful and very impressive. The expert guide gives very attentino to all we need and the driver is very good at navigating rough roads and snowy passes without any difficulty. I highly recommend this trip

Amazing expedition to the mountains - We went on this trip with our guide Alex, very nice and caring guy who accompanied us, just the two of us, on this journey. The company he works for organizes trips for private groups (without being mixed with other people), which we really appreciated because we were able to ask him lots of questions and discuss with him. The hike in the mountains was done under a magnificent sun and it was a great pleasure to discover the waterfall, and the landscapes of the region. The city, Mestia, we we slept propose a large choice of guest houses and hotels to spend the night. The two days were very interesting, we saw beautiful landscapes and learned more about the history of the state. Really big thanks to Alex

Mountains and Chacha - I highly recommend Megobari Tours Georgia tour operator, and especially Michael Nikobadze. This smiling guy will turn your tour into a real adventure, the memories of which will keep you busy all your life. We met at the airport, from where the transfer Kutaisi - Mestia was organized. Already in the first minutes it became clear that Mishka is a cheerful guy with a fairly good knowledge of English, German and Russian, Georgian being his native language. Misha's responsiveness and hospitality did not keep us waiting for long, after our request we immediately went to the colorful Georgian market to buy SIM cards and exchange currency at the best rate, on the spot Mikhail gave us Churchella and bought unforgettable local wine, which we remember with a smile. At the market we also managed to try regional Chacha with cola for free. Georgia welcomes guests with open arms, just be ready to say: Sakartvelos Gaumarjos! Further our way lay through the beautiful and majestic Georgian mountains. Maneuvering through rocky obstacles and all sorts of animals in the form of cows, goats, pigs and dogs Misha showed himself as a professional driver who masterfully copes with every obstacle while telling about local life, folklore and culture. A little after noon we arrived at the great Georgian dam, which is mesmerizing with its depth and construction and the history of its construction. On a platform with a beautiful view we were offered a boat ride. Having made a small bargain: 4 tickets for the price of 3 - we found ourselves on the smooth blue mountain lake, the navigator took us for a ride with the wind telling us facts about the dam and local history. After the extreme ride we visited a mini-cinema, where we learned new interesting facts about the history of the dam. Mountains-mountains and mountains again. We still have a bit to go to our first destination, during the long off-road climb we took a lot of pictures and just talked, a little later we had the opportunity to visit a restaurant with home-made regional cuisine, where we ordered a local icon which is "Kubdari". The taste is indescribable. Just try it! According to local rumors, it is special in this tavern. We would like to pay special attention to the place, right next to the table we found a natural rapid waterfall, the entourage of the whole view was added by the statue of Stalin on the left, who was smilingly enjoying either new visitors or a joke told by Misha. By evening we arrived at a beautiful old-style mountain cottage for the night. The hospitable Sakartvelians warmly welcomed us, showing us tidy rooms with mountain views and treating us to dinner. The table located in a spacious room was rich in Georgian cuisine, red sweet wine and fortified chacha about 60%. The best Adzhabsandali in Georgia was served here by the way. Until 1 am we exchanged stories and life situations, held competitions on loud Georgian toasts and laughed a lot. After 7 or 9 drinks it was decided to go to bed, tomorrow we will climb Ushba. I don't want to reveal the entire trip, but I hope everyone experienced this original Georgia vibe in one day. Hospitality and love, beauty and freedom reign here! Many thanks to the Megobari Tours Georgia team, and especially to Michael! See you again in Sakartvela! With greetings from Vlad-George and the two Dashas.
