Must do trip - Our guide gave us a very informative history of Montenegro and Croatia and also the not so distant war. His personal experiences gave the trip a very personal touch. I am from a different continent and did not fully realize the impact of the 1990’s on this area. His love of the beauty of both countries was evident in the stories he told. Montenegro is a beautiful country and so close to Dubrovnik that I feel it is a must do and well worth it day trip. The trip operated like clock work, but I was not there in the middle of high season.

Do it! You won’t regret it! - Glad I booked this trip. Very well organised from start to finish. Tour guide Drazen was very polite professional and friendly. Cannot fault communication prior to the trip on the day and afterwards. Glad we paid for the optional boat to ‘lady of the rocks’. Some may moan and say 10euros each was a bit pricey to pay on top of the day trip price but obviously tourists are how the country makes a living! Not much to see and doon ‘lady of the rock island’ but pretty nevertheless. Montenegro itself the bay was beautiful and this is where you spend the majority of your time! We decided to hare up the hundreds and hundreds of step stones up to the fort for the stunning views over the bay. Definitely worthwhile if you have the time and the strength in the heat! Afterwards we still had some time to explore the souvenir shops and eateries in the walled city. Would recommend. The border crossing wasn’t too bad at all the Montenegro side however the Croatian side was a tiny bit slow. We had 35ish people on our tour. All in all a great day and trip good value for money and a beautiful place to visit! Do it! Book it now!

Well-organized excursion - I had such a great time in Montenegro! The day trip was very well organized, the guide was very pleasant and gave us a lot of information, and the time set for each stop was perfect. And I appreciate being able to explore by myself. I recommend!

No recommendation at all - The local travel agency firstly changed the travel date I purchased just one day before departure, then changed the drop off place to 1km away from the pick up point. We have to find the way back ourselves. If I did not stayed several days there, my one day trip would be destroyed totally. The tour guide is good, otherwise the rating would be lower.
