Cafayate Vineyards & Calchaquies Valleys Day Tour
Cafayate - Upon arrival into Cafayate, a picturesque village famous for its vineyards.
Visit a winery with wine tasting, the tour and tasting are guided by a sommelier who explains the particularities of the wine, the vineyard and the winery as well.
Time for lunch in Cafayate, enjoy around the city and markets.
Then we come back to Salta, the tour ends with the drop off at your hotel.
Quebrada de Humahuaca & Iruya
Quebrada de Humahuaca - You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning to go on a tour to Quebrada de Humahuaca. Declared a World Heritage Site, this area where the landscape and the colours of the hills mix with the equally colourful cultures, is an ideal destination for those who want to know more about Argentina’s past and heritage.
The Hill of Seven Colors - The tour continue with the arrival to the town of Purmamarca to observe the Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Colors Hill), you will have time to visit the the Church and the Artisan Market and to walk around the village.
Tropico de Capricornio - Continue to Huacalera, passage of the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill called the Pollera de la Colla.
Iruya - We continue our journey, passing through the town of Iturbe and Abra del Cóndor (3900 masl) arriving at the beginning of a small gorge where this small town, Iruya, of pre-Hispanic origins, is located.
We are going to spend the night here.
San Salvador de Jujuy & Return to Salta
San Salvador de Jujuy - During the next day, we begin our trip back to Salta, visiting the city of San Salvador de Jujuy on the way.
We return to our hotels in Salta in the afternoon.
