- BAPS Hindu Mandir, Abu Dhabi - Abu Dhabi’s much-anticipated BAPS Hindu temple opened with a grand inauguration on February 14. This architectural marvel, the Middle East’s first traditional Hindu stone temple, is located in Abu Mureikha. Built from pink sandstone and white marble, the temple spans 27 acres and features seven spires, each symbolizing an emirate.
